People get information about organic food, green living, health tips on our website, in our newsletter and in our store. The concept for blynk emerged from an assignment during Purkarthofer’s International Executive MBA studies in Madrid, Spain in 2005. Purkarthofer, a former senior project manager for Siemens, and classmates Mauricio Carrandi of Mexico and Jan Oehmicke of Germany, recognized the need for convenient, healthy food for business people. Together, they co-founded blynk and hope it becomes recognized as a synonym for healthy living. A diverse company, blynk’s investors are family members and friends from eleven different countries, all supporting the vision of meeting the nutritional preferences of modern society while advocating the sustainable development of the environment. “Conscious convenience” is the market niche they want to target. “We want people to step out of their busy cycle and enjoy healthy food in a unique ambience when they are at blynk,” notes Purkarthofer. “Then they can go back to work with renewed energy.” mailing address: blynk, inc. 1900 south boulevard, suite 302 charlotte, nc 28203 store address: blynk organic 200 south tryon street charlotte, nc 28202 p 704.522.3750 f 704.522.3758 [email protected] www.blynk.com pr contact : uta / marketing manager; karl / ceo & founder
