The CLA-VAL e-Log-33 is a pressure tracker and/or flow
logger (with pressure sensor IP67 or IP68). A flow cable
allows easy connection to record pulses (dry contact) from a
wide range of flow meters. All usual pulse flow meters can be
logged. The e-Log-33 also logs pulse signal flow from the
CLA-VAL e-FlowMeter.
The e-Log-33 records in continuous acquisition mode
(Record Mode) according to a user defined sampling set time.
When a high speed unsteady event, such as a surge
(over/under pressure), occurs the e-Log-33 switches to high
speed logging mode up to 8 logs/sec (Surge Mode). This
mode is user defined and triggered by either Level or Band.
Watertight cap
A user friendly e-Log-33 program is a provided by
CLA-VAL for data management analysis and displaying
related graphs. The graphical display provides the user
with a visual understanding of unsteady flows to help
develop appropriate solutions for effective network
protection by smoothing down pressure spikes and
water hammer effects.

Unscrewing the watertight cap allows simple access to the
lithium-ion rechargeable battery and Micro SD memory card.
The memory Micro SD card stores up to 15'000'000 logs of
recorded data. All standard Micro SD memory readers can
download data from the Micro SD onto a connected PC.

Pressure sensor
Programming: User friendly CLA-VAL Software
provides easy programmable control features. The
electronic e-Log -33 housing is directly plugged into
the PCs USB port. A check Led acknowledges the
type of communication mode. All logger settings are
directly entered as user desired values. The
e-Log-33 program switches from Record Mode to
Surge Mode providing the user with the flexibility to
track surges or transients.
Internet updates: All software updates are free of
charge and directly available on the CLA-VAL web
site: www.cla-val.ch.
Data logging and Micro SD memory download:
Data is instantly readable on the Micro SD card
using universal .TXT format. The user has the option
to open data files either with the CLA-VAL software
or any kind of software reading .TXT files.
This Micro SD memory capacity is 2 Gb (15'000'000
records). The e-Log-33 can record at user defined
sampling speeds from 0.125 s up to 60 min.
After a file transfer from Micro SD to PC the user can
choose to either save or delete the file on the Micro
SD card before starting a new logging session.
Plugging the Micro SD card back into the e-Log-33
automatically restarts the logging session.
Power management: Power is supplied by a
Lithium-Ion rechargeable battery. Battery is kept
inside the disconnected (from the pressure sensor)
e-Log-33 housing and connected to appropriate
socket for charging. Version e-Log-33 IP67 or IP68
respectively plugs into an AMP socket or a Lumberg
socket. During battery recharge or in case of battery
failure logged data on the Micro SD card is retained.
Prior first use, the Lithium-Ion rechargeable battery
should be charged for 24 hours. Lithium-Ion battery
is not factory charged prior to product shipment.
Clock
Synchronization:
The
e-Log-33
is
automatically synchronized to your PC internal clock
time. For surge tracking event it is recommended to
use the same computer to ensure the same time
base for accurate logging.
Printed Circuit Board (PCB): Designed with the
latest technology and manufactured from high quality
electronic components the PCB is fully tropical
coated to ensure maximum humidity protection.
