Lightcraft’s Bistro Series brings a unique
concept to traditional string lighting that
incorporates multiple voltages, classic
incandescent and energy saving LED, as
well as a variety of configurations and
shades. What used to be a standard
approach to creating a ‘festival look’,
Bistro creates an environment that is
reminiscent of a celebration. The Bistro
Series offers configurable, flexible and
linear fixture designs that are as easy to
install as it is to specify, while delivering
old school esthetics to hospitality,
landscape, event and themed applications.
Specifying Bistro String Lighting
Lightcraft Outdoor Environments serves the complete requirements of interior landscape and lighting
designers, architects and other demanding specifiers. Customizing your Bistro order follows a logical
progression. For example, the standard color black can be changed to green or white in order to blend in
with the environment.

Bistro Information, Guidelines and Instructions
Bistro outdoor lighting strings are made of durable UV composite materials and can be installed indoors or outdoors. Bistro strings can be used with both
12v and 120v light bulbs. The Bistro bulbs are available in incandescent or LED.
Important: Please make sure that you are utilizing an adequate power supply to accommodate the required load.

Do not twist or tightly stretch the cable
Consider using outdoor suspension cable for runs over 50
feet or in harsh climates (not supplied)
12v installations will require a 12v AC transformer. You must consider
the wattage load
120v installations can be plugged into an outlet or hard wired into a
junction box
Both 12v and 120v installations can be wired to a central hub box
and then run to power
J Hooks or Eye Hooks are generally used but not supplied
All wire connections must be water tight.
All power outlets must be GFI protected and used with a bubble protection cover
The main amp load must be able to accommodate the Bistro string wattage
