Range and Accuracy Marks 9 Convey message clearly and confidently and often develops these with straightforward justifications or explanations. Uses variety of tenses and complex structures throughout. Pronunciation and Intonation Marks 5 Consistently good accent and intonation. Moderate and natural flow of language. Interaction and Fluency Marks 5 Responds readily and shows initiative. Dialogue sustained at a reasonable speed, language expressed fluently. PIECE OF WORK 2 NO TPF WAS USED FOR THIS TASK Candidate 2 Communication Marks 5 Communicates the main points but rarely develops any answer. Responds to some basic questions on prepared material and gives simple opinions. Range and Accuracy Marks 5 Uses discrete words for simple and well-rehearsed phrases but these are often incomplete. Use of language often appears to be inaccurate and insecure. However, the language used is more accurate than inaccurate. Pronunciation and Intonation Marks 3 Largely recognisable pronunciation although there is some inconsistency. Interaction and Fluency Marks 3 Ready responses, quite hesitant, requires frequent prompting and support from the teacher. Pronunciation and Intonation Marks 3 Generally accurate in straightforward language but struggles in complex structures. Pronunciation is mostly recognisable but at times impedes communication. Interaction and Fluency Generally accurate but inconsistent. Marks 2 PIECE OF WORK 4 Candidate 4 Communication Marks 8 Most of the information was conveyed and developed reasonably well. Offers some opinions and some simple explanations. Range and Accuracy Marks 8 Uses a restricted range of straightforward vocabulary and structures in relatively simple sentences. Attempts variety of verb tenses. Pronunciation and Intonation Marks 4 Generally good. Interaction and Fluency Generally accurate but some inconsistency. Responds to unpredictable and spontaneous elements with some success. Teacher has asked more than one unpredictable questions but according to the criteria only first question is considered for marking.
