Bowser's Worldwide Story Commissioned Short Story by Mustoshi *** SYNOPSIS *** Bowser and Larry Koopa grow huge as part of a scheme to defeat Mario. *** CHAPTER 1 ­ LITTLE LARRY'S BIG IDEA *** "Worst. Day. EVER!" Larry Koopa fumes as he stomps his way through his castle. The short, thin Koopaling's spiky, light­blue mohawk and matching shell sway from side to side as he angrily walks along. Further down the hall, Larry encounters a Dry Bones ­­ an animated Koopa skeleton. "Something wrong, Boss?" the Dry Bones asks. "You bet something's wrong!!" Larry replies in an angry tone. "I just got back from the weekly Koopaling meeting. For the millionth time, Ludwig and I got into an argument about which one of us is the leader of us siblings. "Ludwig started chanting 'Little Larry, Little Larry,' and then everyone else joined in... even Lemmy, who's smaller than I am!! I pointed that out to Lemmy, and he said, 'I might be the smallest, but you're still the youngest... Little Larry!'" Larry pouts at the memory. "...Well, you ­are­ kind of a shrimp," the Dry Bones curtly replies. Larry looks furious all over again. "SHUT IT! Don't make me show you what I can really do!" he shouts. "What're you gonna do, jump on top of me?" the Dry Bones taunts. "Do that, and I'll just come back to life in a few seconds! Go ahead and do your worst... shrimp!" Larry seethes with anger. He absolutely hates it when others make fun of his small stature. It was bad enough when his siblings teased him earlier... And now, being called "shrimp" twice by a mere minion is the final straw. Knowing that jumping on the Dry Bones won't do any good, the enraged Larry acts on instinct. He opens his mouth as wide as he can, then suddenly brings it down on the Dry Bones's head. The skeleton's arms and legs helplessly flail while Larry begins to swallow him whole. Bit by bit, the Dry Bones's body passes Larry's lips and ends up in his stomach. Within a minute, the entire Dry Bones is inside Larry's tummy. The Koopaling's beige­scaled torso has gone from being flat to sporting a small pot belly. "...I warned 'im!" Larry smirks as he rubs his slightly­bloated midsection. Suddenly, Larry gets an idea. Larry shouts as he runs towards Bowser's throne. Larry is nearly out of breath after having jogged all the way from his castle to Bowser's. "I've figured out a way for you to defeat Mario once and for all!" "Oh, have you now?" Bowser asks in a skeptical tone. "And what makes you think that you've got such a good idea, when I've been unsuccessfully scheming to take down Mario for decades?" "Just hear me out!" Larry exclaims. "Remember when you joined forces with Paper Bowser? You said that, with his paper Koopa Troop and your real one put together, you'd be able to 'cram the Mushroom Kingdom full of your minions.' Well... what if you crammed the Mushroom Kingdom full of your own blubber instead?" "...What?" Bowser asks in confusion. "Think about it... It's foolproof!" Larry continues. "You already know that you can eat huge amounts of food and grow enormous. That's exactly what you did before you fought giant Luigi in a dream world!" "That's true... It was fun to grow so big~" Bowser smiles at the memory. "I enjoyed that binge even more than I enjoyed that feast that those Boos prepared that one time!" "I'm sure that it was fun," Larry chuckles. "My idea's simple ­­ do exactly what you did then, but on a much, MUCH larger scale. Become even bigger than you were when you fought giant Luigi in the dream world! Become even larger than you were when you fought big buildings in real life! Become even huger than you were when you tried to take over the universe a second time!" Bowser's grin grows bigger. "...I'm starting to like this idea of yours~" "I know, right!" Larry beams. "You can become ginormous... way too big for Mario to defeat! And with your lard covering the Mushroom Kingdom, all of it will forever be unquestionably ­your­ territory!" "Bwahahaha!" Bowser laughs. "Alright, I'm sold! When do I start?" "Right now!" Larry declares. He turns around and nods to the Koopas who are standing guard next to the door to the throne room. The Koopas open the door, and a procession of minions enters the room. There are Boos with Boo Biscuits, Koopas with Koopa Dumplings, Bloopers with Ink Pasta... "I took the liberty of telling the kitchen staff to cook everything that they've got!" Larry explains with a grin. "Bon appetit, Master Bowser!" With an eager look on his face, Bowser begins to dig into the various offerings that his minions are carrying. He eats until he feels full... then keeps on eating. It doesn't take long for all those calories to show up on Bowser's body. His abdomen bloats into a sizable pot belly that makes his beige torso scales stick out. His semi­flat chest develops into a noticeable pair of moobs, which are perky rather than saggy... for now. Bowser's yellow butt bloats enough to be visible from in front of him. Speaking of cheeks, the ones on his face look a bit thicker and rounder. His arms, legs, and tail are slightly flabbier too. The 8'7" Koopa has gained 50 pounds to end up at 550 pounds. "Man, it's the dream world all over again... I'm not growing fast enough!" Bowser declares. "FEED ME FASTER!" Bowser's minions shudder and obey. They barely give Bowser enough time to swallow before shoving more food into his mouth. The faster feeding brings faster growth. Bowser's belly bloats until it sags off his edge of his throne's seat and brushes against the floor. His torso scales are a bit thicker now that they have more to cover. His moobs fatten to D­cup size, and begin to sag atop his small shelf of upper belly blubber. Bowser's behind battens until each cheek is pushing against one of his throne's armrests. His legs look so thick that it would be awkward just to move them around, to say nothing of how difficult it would be to waddle at this size. Bowser's arm fat is starting to bulge against his spiked armbands and wristbands. Similarly, his new double chin is pressing against the spiked collar around his neck. He has packed on another 150 pounds, to arrive at 700 pounds. "Rrrfff, my collar and bands and throne are feeling so tight..." Bowser moans. He's clearly enjoying his growth. "I can't wait to burst out of 'em... SO FEED ME MORE ALREADY!!" Bowser's frightened minions shovel food into his mouth as fast as they can. Bowser doesn't even bother to chew ­­ he swallows everything whole. Eating faster than ever makes Bowser bloat faster than ever. His belly fattens into a huge blob that sags onto a large carpet's worth of space on the floor. Atop that big belly, Bowser's moobs bloat until each one is as big as his head. Just above, Bowser's double chin fattens so much that it bursts through the collar around his neck, and he gains a triple chin. Meanwhile, his arm fat thickens enough to make his armbands and wristbands snap. Bowser is now completely naked... ...unless you count his shell. But even that is starting to look small next to Bowser's bloating behind, which bursts through his throne's armrests and sags a few feet in either direction. Bowser has packed on 450 pounds ­­ nearly his entire starting weight ­­ to arrive at a whopping 1,150 pounds. "Mmm... Man, I must weigh more than half a ton!" Bowser proudly beams. "I'm totally immobile already... My evil plan is off to an excellent start!" Bowser is so thrilled with his progress that he decides to play with his new body. He sticks his claws into the deep folds underneath his moobs. He then wriggles his fingers, making his chest jiggle like gelatin. Finally, Bowser lifts his moobs as high as they can go... and then lets go, making those huge breasts smack his upper belly. Both his chest and his gut wildly wobble as a result. Larry ­­ who is now less than a tenth of Bowser's size ­­ watches the huge fatty fondle himself for a few minutes. Larry then interrupts: "All due respect, Master Bowser, but it was technically ­my­ evil plan..." Bowser looks down at Larry. "Hmph, whatever... I suppose that you expect some kind of reward now?" "Funny you should ask!" Larry grins. "I don't want much... just complete control of Neo Bowser City," he adds, referring to a metropolis that is some distance away from Bowser's Castle. "Oh, is that all?" Bowser replies. "Go ahead, the city's yours. Soon enough, I'm gonna be bigger than it is... Bwahahaha!" Larry devilishly smirks and thinks to himself: "Same here~" *** CHAPTER 3 ­ LARRY'S ENLARGING *** Larry sits in the backseat of a hovering car that's moving through a glass tunnel high above the streets of Neo Bowser City. Larry turns his head toward the window and looks at a series of dark­gray skyscrapers with mostly lit light­blue windows. Page 4 of 19 Bowser's Worldwide Story Commissioned Short Story by Mustoshi The sky is overcast as far as the eye can see, and a moderately heavy rain falls on the city. Lightning flashes, and thunder rumbles. "Why is it stormy every time that I come here?" Larry wonders. He thinks back to the many times that he has raced karts here. Part of him is sad that he'll never race again... but a bigger part of him is eager to be bigger. The glass tunnel ends up leading into the city's tallest skyscraper ­­ Bowser's Tower, which is right in the middle of town. The car enters the building and comes to a stop. Larry thanks the driver and hops out of the car. Larry takes an elevator all the way up to the penthouse on the fiftieth floor, where Bowser's office is. Larry enters the office, grabs a microphone, and turns it on. Thanks to a citywide intercom, everyone in town hears what he says: "Attention, citizens of Neo Bowser City! This is Larry Koopa, and I am your new King!" The city's many minions gasp and whisper to each other. One Paratroopa quips to a Dry Bones: "Seriously? Larry... King?" The minions are about to be even more surprised. "My first decree is that all of the food in the city belongs to me! Everyone, stop whatever you're doing and bring all the food that you can find to the top of Bowser's Tower! NOW!" "Jeez... Greedy much?" a Hammer Bro remarks to a Boomerang Bro. Despite their surprise, being loyal minions, all of Neo Bowser City's residents do as they're told. Within minutes, minions are bringing as much food as they can carry up to Bowser's office. There, Larry proceeds to enjoy the biggest feast that he's ever seen. Bowser may have had a castle's worth of food... But now, Larry's about to enjoy a city's worth. Soon, "Little Larry" isn't so little anymore. His small pot belly develops into a hefty paunch that sags onto the floor, even while he's standing. His flat chest turns into a pair of B­cup­sized moobs. His yellow butt starts sticking out beneath his shell. The 3'11" Koopaling was a modest 100 pounds after he ate the Dry Bones earlier, but now, he has doubled his weight to reach 200 pounds. Of course, that's nowhere near the weight that Larry has in mind. He doesn't just want his siblings to stop teasing him for being small... He wants his siblings to fear him for his size. As such, Larry keeps eating, and keeps growing. His belly bloats so much that it could completely cover a throw rug on the floor. Each of his four belly scales stretches to about half a foot long to accommodate all of the blubber underneath. A large double chin sags over part of those moobs. Larry's butt swells enough so that its top starts pushing his shell upward, while its bottom starts brushing the floor. Larry's legs thicken with lard ­­ but, luckily, since he's now immobile, he won't need to use them anymore. His arms plump so much that his forearm fat bulges against each of his spiked wristbands. Larry has again doubled his weight... In fact, he's gone even further than that. He has added 300 pounds to reach 500 pounds... Bowser's original weight. Despite having grown so much, Larry still isn't satisfied with his size. He continues consuming and growing. His belly swells until it's the size of a boulder. Each of his belly scales stretches to a foot long. Each of his moobs is as big as his head... including his tall hair. He gains a triple chin, which sags onto his chest. Each of Larry's buttcheeks covers a throw rug's worth of space on the floor. His shell looks rather small atop those two yellow beach balls. Meanwhile, Larry's arms fatten enough to make his wristbands snap off, leaving him naked aside from his shell. Larry has more than doubled his weight again, packing on 550 pounds to arrive at 1,050 pounds... nearly Bowser's weight when Larry last saw him. At this point, Larry's growth becomes rather ridiculous in scale. His gut and butt knock over various pieces of furniture in the office (such as desks, chairs, and tables) before crushing them to pieces. His moobs resemble two growing yellow boulders that jiggle atop his mountainous belly. His weight surpasses 1 ton... then 2 tons... then 3... Larry keeps growing until his belly presses against the wall in front of him, and his butt presses against the wall behind him. The minions are forced to awkwardly clamber across his lard to continue feeding him. Before long, Larry's blubber bursts through through all four walls of the office, and begins spreading into the rest of the penthouse. By now, Larry's head and shell look ridiculously small as they nestle between his broad buttocks on one side and his many chins, huge moobs, and huger belly on the other side. As Larry's lard smashes through more walls and covers more of the penthouse, the floor begins to ominously creak. Frightened, Bowser's minions begin evacuating Bowser's Tower. Dry Bones and Bros. pour into the streets and get away from the building. Only Paratroopas stay behind to keep feeding Larry. The minions left the building not a moment too soon. After less than an hour of continued eating, Larry's blubber bursts out of the penthouse's exterior walls. Minions all over the city can see a giant yellow blob resting on top of Bowser's Tower. Page 6 of 19 Bowser's Worldwide Story Commissioned Short Story by Mustoshi They can't see it for long, though. The floor creaks louder than ever, then finally gives out. Larry crashes through the fiftieth floor, then the forty­ninth, then the forty­eighth... He smashes story after story, crushing walls and floors and furniture as if all of it is made of cardboard. The Paratroopas hover in place, watching in awe as the once­little Koopaling destroys an entire skyscraper below them. In mere seconds, with a deafening WHUMP, Larry's mass lands atop the pile of debris that he just created. The powerful impact causes a minor earthquake throughout the metropolis. Minions everywhere stumble and fall due to the strong shockwaves. Larry proudly grins. He just destroyed the biggest building in Neo Bowser City... ...Now, to destroy the rest. *** CHAPTER 4 ­ BOWSER BEGINS VORING *** Meanwhile, back at Bowser's Castle, its namesake glutton has eaten every scrap of food in the building... and it definitely shows. Bowser is now taking up about half of the ballroom­sized throne room. His belly sticks out for about a couple dozen yards, and its height is almost as great as its width and depth. Each of Bowser's belly scales is stretched more than 9 feet long ­­ even greater than Bowser's original height of 8'7". Each of Bowser's moobs is bigger than an SUV. They're now far too large for him to burrow his comparatively­stubby arms underneath them, but he can still jiggle them by gripping a small hunk of blubber on the part of each breast that sags underneath his arm, and then vigorously shaking. The resulting wobbles make his chest bounce up and down atop his broad belly­shelf. Six thick chins sag onto that hefty chest. Bowser's buttocks have filled out much space behind where his throne used to be. Together, his buttcheeks are nearly the size of a semi­trailer truck. His shell looks like a short, thick evergreen tree that's perched atop two yellow boulders. "Man, this feels GREAT! I must be as big as Yoob!" Bowser murrs. Every part of his huge form is jiggling, from the end of his immense belly all the way to the edge of his great buttocks. "Not done yet! Gotta get bigger!" A Paratroopa flies in front of Bowser's head. "Lord Bowser!" he says. "Um... Uhhhh... No more food." Bowser immediately begins fuming. "GRAAWR!" he angrily shouts. "MUST GET BIGGERRR!" Page 7 of 19 Bowser's Worldwide Story Commissioned Short Story by Mustoshi "B­but there's nothing left to eat in the entire castle!" the Paratroopa protests. "WRONG!" Bowser shouts. He opens his mouth wide and begins to powerfully inhale. The Paratroopa meeps and attempts to fly away, but the current is too strong. Bowser sucks the Paratroopa into his mouth as Kirby would inhale an enemy. Bowser takes a moment to enjoy the sensation of the Paratroopa's squirming around inside his maw. Bowser proceeds to swallow him whole, shell and all. "Mmm... Tastier than I expected!" Bowser grins. "Now, who's next?" All of the minions have been frozen with fear since Bowser began inhaling the Paratroopa. Now they look even more terrified. None of them budges an inch. "...How dare you defy me!" Bowser angrily yells. "KAMEK!" Bowser looks up at a Magikoopa who has been flying around the throne room on a broom ever since Bowser began eating. The Magikoopa flies down close to Bowser's head. "Yes, Your Beefiness?" "Get these impudent minions into my mouth! NOW!" Bowser shouts. "...If you want to get bigger, why don't I just cast a growth spell on you?" Kamek asks. "You know, like I did those two times when you were fighting Yoshi as a baby... And those two times when you were fighting Mario as an adult." "NO! I WANT TO EAT!!" Bowser childishly yells. Kamek wearily sighs and flies toward the minions. "You heard the king. Get into his mouth." "N­no way!" a Goomba replies. "I'm not gonna let myself get eaten!" "Oh, really?" Kamek smirks. "Maybe this will change your mind." Kamek raises his magic wand and points it at the Goomba. "Crucio." A series of circles, squares, and triangles of various colors flies at the Goomba. When the spell hits the Goomba, he begins writhing in pain. "AAARRRGGGHHH!!!" the Goomba cries in agony. "Are you going to obey Lord Bowser now?" Kamek calmly asks. "Y­YES!! A­ANYTHING!! JUST M­MAKE IT STOP!!" the Goomba shouts. Kamek casts another spell to stop the Goomba's pain. The Goomba sighs and walks toward Bowser's mass. Not wanting to be tortured, the other minions swiftly line up behind the Goomba. Page 8 of 19 Bowser's Worldwide Story Commissioned Short Story by Mustoshi The procession of minions clambers up Bowser's huge gut, then walks across it. They pass between his moobs, cross his chins, and finally enter Bowser's open mouth... which closes every few seconds to swallow a few minions whole. Goombas, Koopas, and Paratroopas are just a few of the creatures whom Bowser devours whole. He consumes minion after minion, adding their masses to his own. And what a mass Bowser is getting. His belly and butt swell until they press against all four walls of the throne room. His huge moobs press against the ceiling. Minions are forced to climb the high wall of the front of Bowser's gut, then walk across dozens of yards of belly blubber to reach his greedy maw. Not long afterward, Bowser's blubber bursts through the throne room. His lard starts spreading into other parts of the castle. More and more walls and floors fall victim to his bloating abdomen, moobs, and butt. Despite how huge he's getting, Bowser is impatient to grow even more. "I still haven't outgrown my castle!" he pouts. "Hmm... eating lots of minions doesn't seem to be doing the trick. Although... maybe the answer is even MORE minions... KEEP 'EM COMING, GUYS!" Once Bowser has eaten every single minion in the castle, Kamek starts wrangling minions from the surrounding lava­filled region. Hundreds of Koopas, Fire Bros., and other creatures march into Bowser's bottomless maw. Bowser looks like he's having the time of his life. He widely grins as he gluts and grows. Once his lard finally presses up against the castle's exterior walls, and burst through them, Bowser isn't upset that his keep has been destroyed... He's thrilled at achieving his growth's latest milestone. Kamek continues rounding up minions from further and further outlying regions, until finally, Bowser has eaten every single one of the millions of minions in the nearby worlds... and his lard is taking up the entirety of the lava­filled world where his castle once stood. His belly is nothing short of vast. It stretches out so far that Bowser cannot see anything beyond it. His moobs are equally impressive; each one is huge enough to be visible from space. Bowser's buttocks are even bigger than the huge mountain against which they're pressed. Bowser proudly wobbles around, making his tremendous moobs bounce atop his ginormous belly. The mountain behind his buttocks tremors. Atop that mountain is a now­vacant amusement park... which is about the same size as Bowser is now. Bowser grins at Kamek and says: "Well, now that I can't fit in World Bowser anymore... Let's put it to good use~" Page 9 of 19 Bowser's Worldwide Story Commissioned Short Story by Mustoshi *** CHAPTER 5 ­ NEO BOWSER CITY'S DEMISE *** Meanwhile, in Neo Bowser City, Larry has gone from taking up a lot to taking up a city block. His mighty belly and buttocks have knocked down a few skyscrapers as they've grown larger and larger. Each of his moobs is the size of a large moving van. Unfortunately, Larry now faces the same problem that Bowser did: running out of food. After one of the minions informs Larry as much, he replies: "Well, since I already ruined those skyscrapers that I knocked down, dismantle 'em and feed me all of the pieces!" The minions seem hesitant, but they don't want to disobey such a huge creature. Hammer Bros. use their hammers to break the skyscrapers into small pieces, which Paratroopas carry up to Larry's open mouth. Consuming tons of brick and steel, Larry grows faster than ever. His belly and butt soon cross streets and push up against the bases of more skyscrapers. Larry keeps eating and growing, and his blubber rises up against those buildings. Before long, the pressure is too great, and Larry's lard ends up knocking down many more skyscrapers on all sides. The huge edifices collapse on their sides and send up great clouds of dust. Larry smiles at the minions. "No sense in letting those skyscrapers go to waste, either~" he winks. And so, a vicious cycle is underway. The minions keep feeding Larry collapsed skyscrapers, which make him so much larger that he knocks over even more buildings. As Larry's size increases, so does the number of buildings that he pushes down at once. Accordingly, Larry's growth accelerates. He covers a square of four blocks, then a square of nine blocks, then a square of sixteen blocks... By that point, Larry's belly is so huge that it's as tall as the skyscrapers that it's knocking over. And each of his moobs is the size of a stadium. Within a few hours, Larry has gobbled every single building in Neo Bowser City, and his mammoth body is taking up the same surface area as the former metropolis. The hundreds of thousands of displaced residents surround Larry's bulk, looking up at the beast who just ate their home city. "Former citizens of Neo Bowser City!" Larry shouts. "You've served your King well. I'm sure that all of you are wondering where you'll live now. I happen to know of someplace with plenty of space for all of you... My gut!" Before anyone else can react, Larry pulls his magic wand out of hammerspace, waves it, and says: "Imperio." Instantly, all of the minions are subject to Larry's telepathic control. Page 10 of 19 Bowser's Worldwide Story Commissioned Short Story by Mustoshi Larry wastes no time in causing the minions to climb up his mountainous belly and walk right into his open mouth. One by one, hundreds of thousands of minions add their masses to Larry's. All the while, Larry has a big smile on his face. Eating a city's worth of food was fun, and it was great to grow so quickly by eating buildings... But nothing substitutes for the the sensation of having a squirming living being slide down his throat. Once Larry has consumed Neo Bowser City's entire population, he gets a devilish grin. It's time to show off his new body to his siblings. *** CHAPTER 6 ­ BOWSER'S WORLD TOUR *** Back at the region where Bowser's Castle once stood, Kamek is using his magic wand to levitate every structure in World Bowser to Bowser's mouth. A ferris wheel, a roller coaster, and a giant statue of Bowser himself all end up in the glutton's growing stomach. As the amusement park dwindles in size, Bowser's girth exponentially grows. His belly bloats until it encroaches on a nearby beach world. Ocean waves begin crashing against his broad underbelly. Meanwhile, Bowser's moobs batten until they start pushing against a cloud world that's high in the sky. Finally, Bowser's buttocks burgeon until the mountain that holds up World Bowser ends up wedged between his buttcheeks. By the time that Bowser has eaten the last of the amusement park, he is ridiculously immense. His belly has completely covered the beach world. His moobs have disintegrated the cloud world. And his buttocks completely surround the mountain that used to support World Bowser. "Mmmfff... I'm so biiiiiig... But I'm still not big enough!" Bowser declares. "Kamek! Get me more buildings to eat!!" Kamek flies toward nearby worlds and magically floats every structure that he can find up to Bowser's maw. Bowser ends up consuming castles from a canyon world, an ice world, a desert world, and a grassland world. In doing so, he makes his body as huge as a mountain range. His belly bowls over many mountains in front of him, while his behind swells enough to crush World Bowser's mountain to bits between his cheeks. His moobs enter the stratosphere, dozens of miles above the ground. Before long, all four nearby worlds are bare. So, when Bowser roars in a demand for more, Kamek is forced to locate another region as a food source. Kamek gazes at the ocean beyond the beach that Bowser has flattened. He sees the series of landmasses that make up Dinosaur Land... and he decides to feed each one to Bowser. One by one, Kamek lifts landmasses from the ocean and guides them to Bowser, who eats them in small but steady bites. In this fashion, Bowser eats Yoshi's Island, Donut Plains, Vanilla Page 11 of 19 Bowser's Worldwide Story Commissioned Short Story by Mustoshi Dome, Cheese Bridge, Butter Bridge, Cookie Mountain, and the Forest of Illusion. Bowser gobbles Chocolate Island for dessert... then washes all of it down with Soda Lake. With that, Bowser has completely eaten Dinosaur Land. His body is the size of a large continent. His belly has spread out across all four nearby worlds, and his moobs have entered the mesosphere, more than 50 miles above the ground. Kamek flies to Bowser's head, which looks like the head of a pin in the middle of a parking lot. "Your Massiveness!" Kamek says. "I know that you can't see it from here, but your blubber has almost reached Princess Peach's Castle!" "Excellent," Bowser quips. "I've saved the best meal for last~" *** CHAPTER 7 ­ LARRY SWALLOWS HIS SIBLINGS *** Bowser won't be the only one who ate lands that were named after foods. Using his magic wand, Larry teleports himself from the great pit that used to contain Neo Bowser City to the region that's southwest of Princess Peach's Castle. Specifically, Larry teleports himself above a sea that's known as Sparkling Waters. Larry falls and flattens several islands, a shipwreck, a coral reef, a fortress, and Larry's Torpedo Castle. He makes a loud KER­SPLASH upon impact, and tidal waves soar into adjacent areas. Larry smirks at the realization that, earlier today, he was walking through his castle... and now, his castle is merely one of the things that his gargantuan body just smashed. Larry is facing east, so the front of his belly pushes up against Soda Jungle; the left side of his belly is close to Frosted Glacier; his left buttock is next to Layer­Cake Desert; and behind his rump is Acorn Plains. Larry decides to begin with the latter area. He uses his magic wand to lift Lemmy's Swingback Castle off the ground, then guides it through the air until it's close to Larry's head. Larry smiles up at the castle that's floating above his massive body. He'll give each of his siblings one last chance to show the proper respect... or else he'll give them a one­way ticket to Larry's Scary Lair (which is his new name for his stomach). It doesn't take long for Lemmy to realize that his castle is floating in midair. Lemmy opens front door to his castle, looks down at Larry's huge form, and gasps. "L­Larry?!" Lemmy exclaims in shock. "Yep! It's me!" Larry grins. "Ready to apologize for calling me 'Little Larry' earlier?" Lemmy rolls his crossed eyes. "So you ate your way to a huge size. Big deal! It's not like you did something ­really­ impressive, like star in your own game or something." Page 12 of 19 Bowser's Worldwide Story Commissioned Short Story by Mustoshi Larry pouts. "I ­have­ starred in my own game! It's called 'Larry Koopa: Zombie Heartbreaker!'" "Oh, yeah?" Lemmy skeptically asks. "If that game really exists, then why has nobody ever seen a screenshot of it?" As he did with the Dry Bones earlier, Larry loses his short temper. He opens wide, magically floats Lemmy toward his maw, and sticks him in headfirst. Since Lemmy is even smaller than Larry was before he started growing, Larry has little trouble swallowing Lemmy in a few gulps. Larry is still so miffed that he proceeds to eat Lemmy's castle too for good measure. "Well, so much for Lemmy... Maybe Morton will be more respectful," Larry muses. He uproots Morton's Compactor Castle from Layer­Cake Desert and floats it above his head. Soon afterward, Morton appears at the door. "What the...?!" Morton cries. "Hey, big bro!" Larry proudly smiles. He enjoys the irony that he's referring to a creature who's a fraction of his size as "big." "Wanna promise to never call me 'Little Larry' again?" "As if!" Morton retorts. "Your body may be big, but your head's the same size... So I've still got a bigger star on my head than you do!" Morton is referring to the large brown star that covers the left side of his face... and the tiny blue star that sits on the left side of Larry's head. Pointing that out was a fatal mistake. Larry opens his mouth, floats Morton's feet inside, then begins swallowing. Morton is the biggest of the Koopalings, so it takes some effort to gulp him down, but Larry is persistent. Larry swallows Morton's legs, then wraps his lips around Morton's broad belly. Larry's esophagus pulls that thick torso down more slowly than it did Morton's legs, but Larry still manages to get all of it into his stomach. Morton's head and arms go down a bit faster, but not by much, given what a round head and thick appendages Morton has. Once Morton is gone, his castle follows within a matter of minutes. "Time for my favorite... and only... sister," Larry quips. He lifts Wendy's Shifting Castle from Frosted Glacier and guides it above his head. Wendy opens the door. "Meep!" she gasps. "Hey Wendy," Larry grins. "Wanna apologize for teasing me earlier?" Page 13 of 19 Bowser's Worldwide Story Commissioned Short Story by Mustoshi "What?! If anything, ­you­ should apologize to ­me!­" Wendy curtly replies. "You left me and Roy hanging when we had to fight the Mario Brothers and Paper Mario! Roy and I got trounced because you were shirking your duties, off playing video games or something!" Larry opens his mouth and sticks Wendy inside headfirst. He giggles a bit as the big pink bow on the top of her head tickles the roof of his mouth. Larry feels Wendy's thick red necklace pass his tongue, followed by her torso and arms, which have wide golden rings around her wrists. Moments later, Larry slurps up her dangling feet... and chases his snack with Wendy's castle. Next, Larry yanks Iggy's Volcanic Castle out of Soda Jungle. Iggy comes to the door. "Yeep!" he gasps. "Hiya, Iggy!" Larry says. "Think that you can promise never to call me 'Little Larry' again?" "Sure, I can promise that!" Iggy smirks. "...As long as I can call you 'Cheatsy' instead!" Larry hates that old nickname. To ensure that he never hears it again, he opens wide and sticks Iggy into his mouth headfirst. Iggy's pineapple­like hair tickles the inside of Larry's mouth before Larry feels Iggy's large glasses against his tongue. Larry keeps gulping until he slurps up Iggy's dangling feet. Then he eats Iggy's castle too. East of Soda Jungle are Rock­Candy Mines. Larry retrieves Roy's Conveyor Castle and levitates it above his head. Roy opens the door. "Holy cow!" he exclaims. "Yo, Roy!" Larry says. "You up for promising never to tease me about my size again?" "Would I still get to tease you about your terrible taste in music?" Roy asks, referring to the fact that Larry is a disc jockey at a discotheque called "Electrodrome." Larry takes swift action to ensure that Roy will never again make fun of his taste in music. Roy is the second­biggest Koopaling after Morton, so Larry opens extra wide and sticks Roy into his mouth feet­first. Slowly but surely, Larry gulps down those thick legs, then moves on to that wide belly. Within a minute, Larry is slurping up Roy's big head, hot pink sunglasses and all. Roy's castle is the next to go. "Only one sibling left..." Larry reflects. North of Rock­Candy Mines are Meringue Clouds. Larry pulls Ludwig's Clockwork Castle toward his head. Page 14 of 19 Bowser's Worldwide Story Commissioned Short Story by Mustoshi Larry sighs. As the youngest and oldest Koopalings, respectively, Larry and Ludwig are in a unique relationship. The two haven't always gotten along, but it's safe to say that Larry respects Ludwig more than he does any of his other siblings. Ludwigs opens the door. "Larry?!" he exclaims. "Hey, Ludwig," Larry calmly says. "Listen. It really hurt my feelings when you got everyone else to chant 'Little Larry' earlier. Do you think that you could apologize...?" "Apologize? What for?" Ludwig stubbornly replies. "I'm the leader of the Koopalings, so I can do whatever I want!" Larry is tempted to eat Ludwig for that, but his regard for his oldest brother keeps his temper in check... for now. "Are we really gonna argue about this ­again?­" Larry sighs. "For the last time, ­I'm­ the leader of the Koopalings!" He then thinks to himself: "Or rather, I'm the leader of you... since I ate all of our siblings~" "Yeah, right!" Ludwig retorts. "If you're the leader of the Koopalings, then why have you been the first Koopaling boss more often than anyone else... while ­I've­ been the final Koopaling boss more often than anyone else?" "That proves my point!" Larry counters. "I'm the leader... I lead the way by going first!" "Oh please... The hardest boss goes last, which means that I'm the hardest boss, and thus the leader!" Ludwig declares. "And speaking of the word 'boss'... That's exactly what you called me when we fought the Mario Brothers and Paper Mario!" "I didn't mean 'boss' as in 'supervisor!'" Larry cringes. "I meant 'boss' as a term of endearment, like 'dude' or 'man!' ...Why are we even still arguing about this when it's been settled already? My Smash Bros. trophy refers to me as 'the leader of the Koopalings!'" "Yeah, I noticed," Ludwig smirks. "How much did you pay to have that engraved?" That does it. Larry opens his mouth and sticks Ludwig inside headfirst. Ludwig's big, bushy hair brushes against the insides of both of Larry's cheeks. Larry steadily swallows so that his oldest brother's belly passes his lips... and then, once Ludwig's feet disappear, Larry has eaten all of his siblings. He gobbles Ludwig's castle for dessert, thus ensuring that all of his siblings' castles are inside his gut. Larry is only getting started, however. The fact that all of his siblings still disrespected him makes him fly into a rage. Using all of his magical might, Larry uproots Acorn Plains, guides it to his mouth, and begins to eat it, piece by piece. Page 15 of 19 Bowser's Worldwide Story Commissioned Short Story by Mustoshi Acorn Plains is nearly as big as Larry's entire body, so the meal definitely shows up on his hefty girth. His belly begins encroaching on Soda Jungle to the east, while his butt starts filling the pit where Acorn Plains used to be to the west. Once Larry has eaten Acorn Plains, he decides to consume Soda Jungle before his belly smothers it. Once he's finished with that, his belly is mostly filling the pit where Soda Jungle was, and his behind is covering most of what used to be Acorn Plains. Larry proceeds to have a hot meal in the form of Layer­Cake Desert, then cools down by eating Frosted Glacier. By the time that he has eaten both regions, the right side of the front of his belly is pushing against Rock­Candy Mines, while the left side is mooshing against Meringue Clouds. Larry decides to eat Rock­Candy Mines first. "This mine is mine!" Larry declares as he lifts the mountainous region and guides it toward his mouth. Once the mines are gone, Larry slurps up Meringue Clouds for dessert. By now, Larry is about the size of a small continent. His belly and butt cover the surface areas where all seven worlds used to be. His moobs jiggle in the stratosphere, easily visible from space. Larry looks to his left, in the direction of northeast. Beyond the horizon of his gut, Larry can see Princess Peach's Castle, which is north of where Meringue Clouds used to be. And beyond the castle... Larry sees something that makes him gasp. "...Master Bowser?!" *** CHAPTER 8 ­ THE MARIO BROTHERS' DEFEAT *** It's a typical day at Princess Peach's Castle. The princess invited the Mario Brothers over for a tea party, and so Mario and Luigi travelled to the castle via warp pipe and joined Peach in a room on an upper floor. "I'm so glad that both of you could join me today!" Peach smiles across the table to Mario, who blushes. Wanting to give the two lovebirds some privacy, Luigi paces around the far end of the room. He happens to glance through an east­facing window. "MAMMA MIA!!!" Luigi shouts. He swiftly runs behind Mario and starts cowering in fear. "Goodness! What's wrong, Luigi? ...Did you see a ghost?" Peach giggles. Luigi simply shakes his head and uses a shaky hand to point at the window. Mario and Peach look at each other, then approach the window. "MAMMA MIA!!!" Mario exclaims. Page 16 of 19 Bowser's Worldwide Story Commissioned Short Story by Mustoshi "Oh my goodness!!" Peach cries. "Is that... Bowser??" Peach and the Mario Brothers can see a series of giant belly scales stretching as far as the eye can see left and right, as well as rising well above the clouds. Even though it's impossible to see Bowser's head, or shell, or any part of him other than his gut... the humans know that Bowser is the only possible explanation for what they see. Mario turns to Luigi and says: "Let's­a go!" Luigi reluctantly nods. Mario leads his brother and Peach to the castle's roof. Flying above Bowser's belly, Kamek sees the humans appear on the roof. Kamek flies to Bowser's head and says: "Peach and the Mario Brothers are on the castle's roof, Your Chunkiness." "Good! Make them hear me!" Bowser replies. Kamek points his magic wand at Bowser's mouth and says "Sonorus." When Bowser speaks, his voice booms loud enough for Peach and the Mario Brothers to hear. "Peach! Mario! ...Green guy whose name I can't remember! This is your last chance. Surrender now, or prepare to be eaten!" Peach trembles. She then does something odd. She turns... to Luigi instead of Mario. "Help us, Luigi! You're our only hope!" Mario smiles and nods at his brother. Mario's and Peach's trust emboldens Luigi, who forgets all about being scared. With a determined look, he nods, pulls a few Mega Mushrooms out of hammerspace, and eats all of them in quick succession. Luigi instantly swells to an immense size, while his body retains its original proportions. Luigi becomes so huge that his left foot ends up north of the castle, while his right foot is south of it. He carefully steps forward to avoid harming the castle, then looks ahead. Luigi is now tall enough to be at eye level with Bowser... who looks angry. "Transforming into a giant... I invented that, pal!" Bowser loudly roars. "No way some green 'stache gets to bite MY style!" Luigi angrily furrows his brow. Knowing that it would be futile to try to use his hammer to knock away something as heavy as Bowser, Luigi opts for a jump attack. He crouches, spreads his arms, leaps into the air, flips in midair several times, and then aims his feet at what he thinks is Bowser's weak spot... his head. Page 17 of 19 Bowser's Worldwide Story Commissioned Short Story by Mustoshi Unfortunately for Luigi, he has made a fatal mistake. "Ha! It's not your year anymore, Greenie!" Bowser chortles. He then opens his mouth as wide as he possibly can. Luigi's feet just barely fit between Bowser's lips. As soon as Bowser feels the soles of Luigi's shoes on his tongue, Bowser maneuvers his lips so that his mouth encloses Luigi's feet. Luigi immediately realizes his error, and does his best to struggle free. He tries to jerk his legs upward, but Bowser's mouth has a firm hold on both of his feet. Luigi then attempts to kick the interior of Bowser's mouth, but his feet are so snug in there that there's no room to maneuver. Meanwhile, slowly but surely, Bowser begins to swallow Luigi from the bottom up. With a big gulp, Luigi's feet end up in Bowser's gullet, where his esophagus pulls them further down. Bowser's lips gradually cover more of Luigi's lower leg, and eventually end up at Luigi's knees. Luigi feels like he's sinking in quicksand. In a last­ditch attempt to stop Bowser, Luigi twists his upper body, pulls his hammer out of hammerspace, raises it over his head, and then brings it down as hard as he can on top of Bowser's chest. Unfortunately for Luigi, he succeeds only in making those massive moobs bounce up and down, clapping against that vast belly. Bowser keeps swallowing, sending more of Luigi's legs into his gullet. Soon, Bowser's lips pass Luigi's waist, and start enveloping his torso. With half of his body inside Bowser, Luigi does the only thing that he can do: pound his fists on Bowser's blubber. The huge glutton remains completely unharmed, and even seems to murr with pleasure while his lard wobbles all over from Luigi's poundings. Bowser finally gets the last of Luigi's torso past his lips. Luigi's feet and lower legs are already in Bowser's stomach, and his upper legs are steadily moving down Bowser's throat. Bowser's lips encroach on Luigi's armpits and force his arms to point upward. Bowser stretches his mouth open wider to accommodate Luigi's upper arms and head all at once. Before long, only Luigi's forearms and hands are sticking out of Bowser's mouth... and the greedy beast slurps them up like the last two strands from a plate with lots of spaghetti. With that, Bowser has consumed every part of the giant Luigi. The resulting calories make his belly bloat enough to smash through Princess Peach's Castle. At the last second, Mario grabs Peach and leaps into the western part of the moat that surrounds the castle. Stone debris splashes into the water all around them. Mario's and Peach's survival is short­lived, however. Larry ­­ who is southwest of the castle ­­ sees the two humans jump off the roof. Larry uses his magic wand to lift Mario and Peach out of the water. Larry floats the pair over to his head, and declares: "Mario, I could eat you in one Page 18 of 19 Bowser's Worldwide Story Commissioned Short Story by Mustoshi gulp, just like I did at my Chillton Hotel... but I think that Master Bowser would enjoy eating you even more." With that, Larry floats Mario and Peach all the way over to the head of Bowser... who looks thrilled to see them. "At long last... I get to defeat my archnemesis!" Bowser exclaims. He proceeds to eat Mario in one gulp. "And my beloved Princess Peach... Finally, you and I will be together forever." Bowser then swallows her whole. Bowser triumphantly roars. "Mission accomplished!" he proudly exclaims. "Thanks for floating those two to me, Kamek." "That wasn't me, Your Flabbiness," Kamek replies. "Really?" Bowser quips. "Then who...?" "Hey! Master Bowser!!" Larry shouts while magically amplifying his voice. "Did you eat them yet??" "Is that you, Larry?" Bowser calls back. "Yeah, they're gone! And they were tasty! Thanks for the help... and for coming up with this brilliant plan in the first place!" Larry blushes. Bowser must be in a really great mood to be uncharacteristically willing to share credit like that. "You're welcome, Master Bowser!" Bowser squints, doing his best to look at Larry past Bowser's own belly. "You're pretty far away, but I can tell that you've gotten huge... Heck, looks like you're the size of one of my huge moobs!" Bowser remarks. "To think that you used to be so scrawny... Maybe I ought to start calling you 'Large Larry!'" Larry blushes deeper. Having Bowser's respect more than makes up for lacking respect from his siblings. "I'd like that!" Larry bashfully replies. Bowser grins, then gazes at the rest of the world beyond his belly. He hungrily licks his lips. "I think that it's time for me to eat the rest of the planet," Bowser muses. "I always wanted to take over the universe... And the third time's the charm!" Page 19 of 19
