Process:
Check out our step-by-step photos on the other side!
1. Assemble materials.
2. On a cutting mat, use a razor knife to slice the cork into ¼-inch thick discs. Gently shave off any
uneven pieces.
3. Lay a cork slice flat on the cutting mat. Position the nail ⅓ of the way down from the top edge of
the cork. Gently tap nail with hammer and push through to the other side to make a hole.
4. From the hole to the cork's edge, use your razor knife to make a recessed channel the width of
your twine. Thread twine through the hole in the cork and align twine with the recessed channel.
Tie a single knot.
5. Using the cork as a stencil, center over the face in your photograph and mark accordingly. Use
scissors to cut out your stenciled circle and glue to the side of the cork slice with the recessed
twine channel.
6. Tie the decorated marker around the stem of a glass and cut off excess twine. Repeat process
with remaining cork slices and photos.
