FleepingisanactivitywhereyouengageinaconversationusingFleepsoftware.Itdoesn’tmatterif

HowtostartanewconversationinFleep?
Thereareafewwaysforstartinganewconversation.The
easiestoneistoclickonthe+buttonintheFleepinterface.A
pop-upwillappear,promptingyoutoaddpeopletothe
conversation.
Youcanstartaconversationwithalmostanyone!Ifyouwant
toconversewithapersonthatisalreadyusingFleep,youneed
toknowtheirFleepID([email protected]–
example:[email protected]).Ifyouwishtostartaconversationwithsomeonewhohasn’tsignedup
toFleep(yet),allyouneedtodoisaddtheiremailaddress.
Whenyou’veselectedthemembersoftheconversation,it’stimetopickatopicforyour
conversation.
Bydefault,theconversationtopicwillbemadeupofallthemembers’namesoremailaddresses.
Thiscaneasilybechangedbyclickingonthetopic,typinginamoresuitabletopicandhittingEnter!

Allofyourconversationsareaccessiblefromtheleftpane

Fleepwillbethemostefficientandusefultoolfor
yourcommunication,youshouldfirsttakecare
ofafewthingsinyouraccountprofile.

Youcanaccessyouraccountprofiledetailsby
clickingonthesmalltrianglerightnexttoyour
profileonthebottom-leftcornerofFleep.This
willopenapop-upwhereyoucanchoose
Accountsettings.

Avatar–uploadaphotosopeoplecanseewhothey’retalkingto.
Name–sothatotherswouldknowwhoyouareandwouldn’tneedtochecktheemailaddressin
yourprofiletovalidatethat.
FleepID–youruniqueidentifierintheFleepnetworkandalsoyouremailaddressforallincoming
andoutgoingemailmessages.WorksforforwardingallyouremailsintoFleep,too!FleepIDisalsoa
requiredtousethe@mentionsfeatureinconversations.
Emailaddresses–theaddressesvisiblehereare:theoneyouusedtosignup,andallthe
alternativesyouhavelisted.Alternativeemailsareforpeoplewithseveralpersonas(work,

address,Fleepwilllink

Markread/unread–doesexactlywhatitsays.Forthose
momentswhenyouwishtoquicklymarksomethingreador
unread(soyoudon’tforgettocomebacktoitlateron).
Star/Unstar–thiswillraisethepriorityoftheconversation.Also,
byaddingaStartotheconversationitwillbeplacedonthetopof
theleft-paneconversationlistwhereit’salwaysvisible.
Mute–youcanmuteaconversationwhenyounolongerwishto
getalertsaboutmessagesinthatconversation.Youcanchooseto
mutethenotificationsforanhour,aday,aweekorforever.
Clone–thisistheeasiestwaytocreateanewconversationwith
thesamesetofmembersbutadifferenttopic.Thisworksbothforone-to-oneaswellasgroup
conversations.
Archive–ifyouchoosetoarchiveaconversationit
willbemarkedasarchivedandfiledawaytoyour
archivedconversationsgroup(visibleintheAll
conversationslist).
Editlabels–labelsallowyoutoorganizeyour
conversations.Youcanaddlabelstoallconversations
andtheywillappearontheleftpaneaslabelgroups.
Delete–conversationsthataredeletedareforever

emails(beitfromOutlook,GmailorThunderbirdandwhatnot).Similartothis,youcouldeasilyuse
FleeptoreplaceallyourcurrentemailtoolsandstartforwardingemailsintoFleep(usingFleepID).
AtfirstitmightfeeloddtosendoutemailsfromandreceiveemailstoFleep,butifyoutakesome
timeandgetacquaintedwithFleep,thenthismightbethebeginningofanewhabitforyou.Anyone
canmoveovertoFleepwhenevertheywishto,evenifthepeopleyoucollaboratewithondaily

Youstartthesamewayaswithanormalconversation,aclickonthe+foranewconversation.Then
inserttheemailaddressintotheconversationasamember.Inthisexample,threeFleepusersand
