How to fix the PT issue of FI8620
If the FI8620 cannot Pan/Tilt after working for a period of time. You can follow this guide to
open the camera to check if it is the issue that the plastic pillar was broken.
NOTE: If you have only one FI8620, please remember where the boards and cables
connected when you take apart them, in order to install them back correctly.
Steps to take apart FI8620:
1. Loosen the four screws and open the glass cover.

2. Loosen the four screws which used to fix the head of the camera.

3. Unplug the cables on the bottom board carefully. (Figure 5)

4. Loosen the three screws on the bottom board and take apart the board. Please get rid of
the red gum which covered on the screws firstly.

5. Loosen the screws which used to fix the lens cover and take off it.

6. Loosen the two screws used to fix the lens board. (Figure 8)

7. Take off the conveyor belt on the gear and fetch out the lens board. Unplug these cables
on the board under the lens. (get rid of the red gum firstly.)

8. Loosen the four screws as following picture and take apart the board from the base.

9. Take apart the small board at the side of the plastic.

10. Take off the motor.

11. Loosen these screws as below picture and take apart these small plastic gasket.

12. Take out the ring. If the camera cannot PT, it mainly because the plastic pillar is broken
as Figure 19.

13. Just change the plastic will solve the issue. We have made the plastic stronger and it
will not be easily broken now.

14. When you install back the plastic pillar into the ring, just push by hand and the pillar will
be stuck.

15. Install back all the parts in order when you take apart them.
