The Norseman staff sincerely thank you for allowing us the opportunity to be your lodging choice while vaca oning on beau ful Ogunquit Beach. The 2015 season was even ul for us. In addi on to our usual winter maintenance and improvement program; we introduced our new Tidal Suites which replaced the former Gangplank rooms. We also suffered a fire on April 28th which destroyed both Huckleberry’s Restaurant and our Sailo rooms. We worked diligently to deal with the a ermath of the fire and the comple on of our new suites along with finalizing the other winter projects which were underway. Our suites were finished just before the July 4th holiday. We are currently construc ng our new rooms which will be on the former Huckleberry’s site. We are all looking forward to the 2016 season which begins on April 7th. Improvements that we have been working on this winter include: The Dunes Building has a new deck, sliding doors, siding and exterior ligh ng on the North side, Room 111 has been completely renovated and now has a king bed. New windows have been installed in Rooms 126 & 127. The Skippers Deck has a new staircase, be er ligh ng leading to the upper levels, and the 2nd level of the Skippers Deck has been rebuilt. Six rooms in the Summer Building at the Aspinquid have been renovated. Seacastles front porches and stairs have been rebuilt, the indoor swimming pool and whirlpool at Seacastles have been refinished and painted. Five rooms at Seacastles have been renovated to include new kitchen cabinets, bath vani es and carpet. Also, many rooms at all three proper es have a fresh coat of paint. We hope you will come stay with us and relax at the “beau ful place by the sea”.
