COMBINED EFFORTS ENSURE COMPLEX LIFTS A SUCCESS CLIENT: Integrated Maintenance Group (IMG) PROJECT: PROJECT ATOM PROJECT BRIEF: IMG had won the mechanical installation contract required the installation of 5 large sections of
ducting over live plant. The lifts were not heavy but given the constraints of underground
services, dimensional constraints, traffic management, live plant, installation height and reach,
the lifts were always going to be difficult. IMG contacted Fabworx to assist with the planning
and execution of the lifts.
FABWORX DELIVERY: To support the complex lift, Fabworx immediately contacted Buck McGregor for his expertise in
this area. Alongside the client, Jason & Buck created a complex lift plan and coordinated
communication between the crane company, IMG and the client. Although there were
production, design and ground stability challenges, the lifts went according to plan with minimal
disruption to production.
