Abraham Lincoln was the one who turned slavery up side down. Abraham
Lincoln is a very peaceable person and he was the one who ended slavery.
He was born on February 2,1809 in Laure, Kentucky. When he was two
years old he moved to a farm on Knob Creek. Then when he was seven
year old his family moved to Indiana. In the year of 1834 he was elected
into politics and in 1837 he gave his first public statement against slavery. In
1861 he was elected the 16th!President of the United States and the same
year the Civil War began between the Union(North) and the
Confederacy(South). On November 19, 1863 the Gettysburg's address was
given by Abraham Lincoln following the three day battle at Gettysburg.
The Civil War ended on April 9,1865 when General Robert E. Lee
surrendered to the North. Abraham Lincoln was the one who ended
slavery and declared freedom for all people.
