Aims To review and extend irregular past simple verbs in
affirmative, negative and question forms

Materials 1 handout for each student
• Give each student a copy of the handout and ask them
to look at task A. Some of the past simple forms do not
appear in the Student’s Book, so students might want to
use dictionaries.
