EQUIPMENT DATA SHEET - THE STRAND LIFT SYSTEM
ALE’s standard range of strand jacks offer Safe Working Load
capacities from 15 to 866† tonnes per jack, coupled with proven
standard operating speeds of up to 60 metres per hour with
ALE’s diesel driven power packs.
Control systems can be as simple or sophisticated as the
particular contract demands and range from local to fully
remote, operating single or multiple jack arrangements.
Cable recoiling and handling systems can be employed
to limit down time between successive operations and
optimise cable re-use.
Where required, structural frameworks allow jacks to be
connected to structures through articulated joints using
standard rigging equipment.

The ALE hydraulic lifting / lowering /pull system is designed for precise, rapid and safe lifting, lowering and
horizontal shifting of heavy loads. The hydraulic lifting equipment is a compact, versatile lifting equipment
which has proven to be an essential component for the installation of prefabricated bridge elements, heavy
vessels for nuclear power plants and chemical industries, offshore structures, etc.
Lifting units of 850t nominal capacity are compatible with all the different series of ALE strand lifting units.
