This is your ticket for this evening Science Learning Centre (main building – activities upstairs) 18:15 “What Astronomers Do in Practice” by Raquel Chicarro 19:00 “Night Light or Night Blight” by Bob Mizon 19:45 “Google an Astronomer” with Dr. Mark Gallaway and David Campbell 20:30 “Night Light or Night Blight” by Bob Mizon 21:15 “Asteroid Astronomy” by James Falder - Special Pin-hole Camera / Solargraph Workshop (recommended for kids, 5 people every 10min) - Planetarium Shows (every ~20min starting at 18:10 upstairs and at 18:20 downstairs) - Lab Activities – Meteorite stall, “Shooting star” detector, Time Snail, IR camera and much more… - Computer Lab: Galaxy Zoo, Moon Zoo, Solarstorm Watch, Planet and Ice Hunters! - Café, food & refreshments. Observatory (outside -- follow map on the back ) It’s a 5 minutes walk to the telescopes. Please stay on the illuminated path!!!
