The National Center for Homeopathy is grateful for the support we’ve received this past year, and
we are pleased to share our accomplishments for 2013 in this Annual Report.
As you will see, contributions from generous donors who believe in our mission to promote health
through homeopathy enabled us to make great strides in our program areas: education, advocacy,
outreach, and community. Through the annual conference, webinars, publications, social media
outreach, strategic alliances, educational programs, and other initiatives, we’re continuing to serve
homeopathy and all those whose lives it touches.
Members of the Board of Directors are committed to ensuring that today’s NCH builds upon this
organization’s 40-year legacy to make certain that homeopathy continues as a viable healthcare
option and that the public is increasingly aware of its benefits. Thank you for your continued

Joint American Homeopathic Conference - NCH continues to present the
Joint Annual Homeopathic Conference for the whole homeopathic community.
NCH held its 8th Annual Joint American Homeopathic Conference, April 19-21,
2013 in Reston, VA. At this event we welcomed over 300 attendees from across
the US and around the globe.
We also conducted our first, and very successful Call for Abstracts for the 9th
Annual Joint American Homeopathic Conference (April 4-6, 2014, in Long
Beach, CA) and received over 70 abstract submissions during the process.

Received + 30,000 website visits/month
The “Find a Homeopath” practitioner directory remains
one of the most popular sections of the website, with thousands of visits
each month
Added a “Find a Remedy” section to the website (for people new to
homeopathy)
• Quickly became one of the most popular sections of the site
Homeopathy Today Magazine – NCH has entered into a partnership with
EBSCO Subscription Services to have Homeopathy Today magazine included in
one of the largest literature databases in the world! EBSCO provides magazine
subscriptions to well over 140,000 professionals and businesses with waiting
areas throughout the US. This will make information about homeopathy
available to a broader, more varied audience.

E-Newsletter – In 2013, we unveiled a fresh, new and improved e-newsletter filled with important and relevant
information about NCH and the homeopathic community. We distributed 12 issues of the monthly e-newsletter in 2013
NCH News Brief – In 2013 we introduced the NCH News Brief, a bi-monthly one-of-a-kind news round up of
homeopathic and related news.
Webinars – Conducted monthly webinars with an average of 150 registrants per webinar
Social Media – Our social media presence continued to grow throughout 2013. We educated thousands of new
people about the healing powers of homeopathy through all of our social media channels. Facebook continues to be
our fastest growing social media site.

Total Facebook Impressions: +9,544,000
New Twitter Followers: 768 (total +1,600 followers)
Outreach through Partnerships – NCH has partnerships with the Holistic Moms Network and the Integrative
Healthcare Symposium. These partnerships give us access and exposure to thousands of new people and an
opportunity for NCH to be an authoritative voice for homeopathy.
Advocacy – NCH represented homeopathy as a Partner for Health with the Integrative Healthcare Policy Consortium.
Our NCH representative participated in the IHPC board’s annual retreat in the call of 2013 to strategically plan with
our partners about positioning homeopathy for greater acceptance and easier consumer access.
A new membership structure was introduced in 2013 to include Individual, Professional, Organizational and Life Members.
Membership breakdown by category:
• Individual: 82%
• Professional: 15%
• Organizational: 1%
• Life: 2%
We also increased the number of active NCH supporters by +10% (more than 9,000 constituents).
Online Member Directory – A new and improved online member directory was unveiled which includes a streamlined
process for members to update their information, including personalizing with a profile picture or company logo.
