The SYSTIMAX® Solutions’ G2 series apparatus is comprised of multifunctional fiber optic shelves that are used for a combination of splicing and termination of fiber-optic
building cable or outside plant (OSP) cables. The shelves are designed for use as a termination shelf only (direct connector termination) or as a splice and termination
shelf for up to 48 individual fibers (1U 600G2 version), 96 fibers (2U 600G2 version), or 192 fibers (4U 1000G2). They feature either a fixed tray or slide-out tray for
easy access.
The G2 modular shelf system features 2 modules, available in SC, ST and LC for the LazrSPEED® or TeraSPEED™ Solutions. The 1U shelf accepts up to 4 G2 modules,
while the 2U and 4U shelves accommodate 8 and 12 modules respectively. Completing the G2 shelf offer are the patent-pending splice organizers, RoloSplice kit
for 600G2, and Splice Wallet kit for 1000G2. The G2 Modular shelves feature 1U-, 2U- and 4U-height fully enclosed shelves with the front cable management trough
included.
