Imagine this. On the morning of your big day, you awake relaxed and relieved, knowing
all the details have been taken care of and that your only job is to enjoy every up and
coming moment with the people who surround you. You hop out of bed, draw back the
curtains in your quaint three-bedroom cabin and enjoy the view as the sun rises over the
Continental Divide. The setting is serene as you notice the sun kiss the Aspen trees
scattered around the Snow Mountain Ranch property and it hits you – you couldn’t have
made a more perfect choice of venue for the most important day of your life.

and your guests will not only lodge on-site, but where you can all participate in a variety

during your stay with us.
With lodging options that can accommodate more than 2,000, you won’t have to spend
hours trimming your guest list or worrying about planning itineraries for multiple guests –

START WITH THE WEDDING PACKAGE
Our wedding package here at Snow Mountain Ranch covers all of the
bases. With a lot of room to modify, upgrade, and personalize this
package, you can create exactly what you have always wanted for
your big day.

An indoor site (Whispering Pines Chapel) is perfect for your
winter wedding dream. Ample seating for up to 200 people,
warm lighting to create an intimate atmosphere, and use of a
grand piano make this space ideal for carrying out your vision.

Our spacious indoor reception venue can accommodate your
party of up to 175 people. Legett Program Building has hardwood floors, ample windows for stunning scenic views, a balcony
for outdoor mingling, and also comes with all of your tables and
chairs so you have one less thing to coordinate.

Here at Snow Mountain Ranch, we have onsite catering available
for your reception celebration. Our talented culinary staff has the
skill and experience to whip up dishes that will have your guests
drooling. We have five different menus to choose from each with
the option to personalize. See more information about our dining


Archery. Climbing. Hiking. Fishing. Summer Tubing. And so much
more. What better way to create lasting memories with your
family and friends than to partake in the vast array of activities
here on property. Schedule an archery competition for the
younger ones while the bridal party takes a roller skating break.
Send the uncles out fishing while the aunts create mementos in
our craft shop. Or get the whole family together for uniquely
Snow Mountain Ranch Experience. The Nordic Center here onsite
is your one stop shop for classic cross country skiing, skate
skiing, snow shoeing, and fat biking. Grab your fiancé and a
couple of your closest friends and head on down for a classic
lesson. You and 5 others will be
outfitted with rentals and take part
in a one hour lesson to learn the
basics of classic cross country skiing.
Once you’re done with your lesson,
take advantage of our 100+ km of
groomed trails and explore our
property as you have never seen it.

Each of these different menus offers a unique taste of Colorado so your guests
can have a true Rocky Mountain experience. Our catering team provides all of
your linens, plates, service ware, and staff. Let us handle the cooking, your most
challenging task will be deciding which menu to pick.
ALCOHOL POLICY
Here at Snow Mountain Ranch, we do allow beer and wine at our
reception. However our staff are not allowed to transport, open, pour, or
serve any type of alcoholic beverages. You are welcome to bring in your
own wine and beer as long as you hire a licensed bartender. We do not
allow any hard liquor at your reception. Additionally please keep any
alcoholic beverages limited to your accommodations and the reception
venue. We are a family oriented facility and as such we do not allow open
containers to be carried around property.
FIRST RIGHT OF REFUSAL
Our catering department will do anything they can to accommodate your
reception and celebratory weekend. However, with our facility holding a
maximum capacity of almost 2,000 people, there are certain busy times for
our foodservice staff. Our catering team and foodservice department has
the first right of refusal for any and all catering events on property. This
means that when you book your wedding with us, your wedding coordinator
will contact the catering manager to discuss the potential size of your
wedding and the date. If we cannot commit to providing you excellent
service for your big day we will provide you with options of certified and
approved caterers for you to select from for your reception. Your wedding
coordinator will provide you with a list of certified vendors should our
catering staff not be able to accept your event.

FOOD, ACTIVITIES,
WHAT ABOUT LODGING?
Here at Snow Mountain Ranch we have more than
hotel rooms for your guests. We have eight
bedroom cabins that can hold up to 40 for a
reunion feel or your guests can choose a smaller
two or three bedroom cabin tucked away in the
woods for a family vacation option during your
wedding weekend.
We have multiple lodging options spread out over
our large 5,000+ acre property so that whatever
you and your guests are looking for we can
provide. We have hotel style lodge rooms,
campsites, yurts, two to five bedroom cabins and vacation homes,
and six to eight bedroom reunion cabins.
Please keep in mind that we have regular, value and super value
rates. Lodging rates and availability vary according to date and
season, your flexibility can help in reserving the perfect lodging
options. While our two to five bedroom cabins may be available for
your wedding guests, we cannot guarantee the availability of our
smaller cabins. Smaller family cabin booking will become available
on April 1, 2015 and can be reserved online at ymcarockies.org or
by calling Snow Mountain Ranch reservations at 888-613-9622.
These cabins are booked on a priority system which allows cabin
donors and YMCA of the Rockies Members to reserve first. Our
six to eight bedroom reunion cabins can be booked through your
wedding coordinator up to two years in advance.
PERSONAL LODGING LINK
Each wedding package comes with 20 lodge rooms. These lodge rooms
are blocked and set aside as soon as the booking process begins. This
block is held exclusively until 60 days before you arrive. Once that 60
day mark arrives, any rooms not
reserved are dropped and the $50 (per
room) deposit is forfeit. In January
2016 you will receive a personalized
hyperlink that links directly to that
block of rooms. You are welcome to
disperse that link to whomever you
would like so they can make their own
individual reservations.
The portion of the wedding package
cost that covers these 20 rooms
($1000) can be attributed towards
costs a few different ways. This
balance can be broken down and
applied to your guest’s rooms if you
would like to pay a portion of their
stay; or you can simply leave that
balance on your overall bill and use it
to pay down the final amount.

THE BOTTOM LINE
So, what is all of this going to cost? Our wedding package covers all
of your basics, but there is a lot of room to upgrade and personalize.
Our starting package is $3500. This package includes;
 Whispering Pines Chapel set up for your ceremony
 A one hour rehearsal the evening before your big day
 Legett Reception Hall with all of your tables and chairs
 A hold on 20 lodge rooms for you and your guests
 One dressing room for the guys and one dressing room for the
gals
 One of those rooms as lodging for you and your new spouse on
your wedding night
 A time slot sometime during the weekend for you and your
guests to check out the Nordic Center for a lesson and rentals
 The knowledge that while there may be other groups or events
happening on property, you are the only wedding occurring that
weekend and your coordinator will be completely devoted to
your event
 Personalized attention from your dedicated coordinator to not
only answer all of your questions leading up to your big
weekend, but also to be available your entire celebration from
the time you arrive on property until you drive off as a newly
married couple
 Your initial deposit will be 50% of your total cost due upon
signing your contract. The remaining balance is due two weeks
before you arrive.

Having our wedding at Snow
Mountain Ranch was a dream come
true. Let me first say to the brides
out there, Mike, their event coordinator, was a dream! He was
equipped with all the answers to
my incessant questions, he never
failed to reply instantly to all of my
emails, and mostly he invested
time in getting to know us and our
wedding details to ensure that all
went accordingly. We found out
after our wedding that he was terribly sick the whole time and yet
he put on a smile, went above and
beyond and answered ALL urgent
phone calls from my family on the
day of the wedding. We had our
ceremony at Columbine Point - it
was beautiful! It was breathtaking!
The tables and decor were perfect
for our rustic wedding. We had the
whole bridal party stay in one of
their large cabins and we also
hosted our rehearsal dinner there.

say that it literally was everything I
dreamed and wanted it to be.
