Understanding Japan’s Geography and the Impact of Natural Disasters Assignment
Purpose: The purpose of this assignment is to developing your understanding of Japan’s physical
geography and how the country’s history of devastating disasters have contributed to the development of
the Japanese worldview.
Instructions:
1. Gather all the materials that you will need to complete this assignment and bring it to class each
day. You will need a pencil, eraser, black or blue pen, pencil crayons, ruler, and an atlas.
2. Colour your map after all of the labelling is completed. Labels should be written horizontally.
3. Print in pencil first, then go over the printing in blue or black ink.
4. Work carefully and neatly if you do not follow these instructions you will not get full marks.
