important that $10 donation National
Foundation is to this organization. National
Foundation is the charitable arm of the
Elks. When you donate that $10 it is
deposited in your name with an assigned
number to the foundation fund. That $10 is
never spent but the interest that is accrued
on the total fund is what helps to pay for all
of the programs of the Elks.
Ladies of the Elks
The Ladies of the Elks met Tues, Aug 5th.
We discussed past fundraiser with the Bass
Tournament. The proceeds of the Food Booth
and 50/50 go toward Children’s Care. Special
Thanks to KOHLS for helping with this event.
We are planning our Soup and Auction for
Saturday November 15th. The proceeds are
used to help the less fortunate families of
Jefferson County during Christmas time.
