Dear Parents/Carers
Year 11 Spanish Lessons
I am aware that some of you have shared concerns over the provision for your child in Spanish recently. I
am pleased to inform you that Ms Kapoor has now returned to school and has resumed her teaching
timetable.
We are confident that, having covered the ‘School’ topic over the last 8 weeks in preparation for their final
speaking controlled assessment, the students are in a position to be able to complete the Pre Public
Examination to a good standard. The exam they took in both June of year 10 and November of Year 11,
which were similar in content, showed great promise and is in fact the strongest element of the GCSE
course for some of them.
For your information, the exam content is all of the work covered during Year 10 and Year 11;





As part of their revision programme, pupils can access GCSE Bitesize online which is an excellent resource,
