UTP Historical Background
The Technological University of Panama (UTP) is the highest-ranked public higher
education institution in the field of engineering, science and technology in Panama.
It was founded on August 13th, 1981 in the Republic of Panama and it is located at
Technological University of Panama Avenue in Panama City.
This university focuses its activity on encouraging research, innovation,
entrepreneurship, developing outreach activities, technical assistance and to train
individuals to contribute to the current and future development of our country and
the region.
