Notes:
1. The data throughput depends on the speed of the PCIe slot the card is installed into in the Desktop or Server. A 4-Lane PCIe 1.0 slot has a maximum speed limit of 10 Gbps whereas a 4-Lane PCIe 3.0 slot supports a maximum speed of 40 Gbps.
2. Support for booting from a NVMe/PCIe SSD may not be supported in some older systems due to BIOS limitations. You may need a UEFI BIOS so please verify with your system manufacturer to confirm the support of NVMe/PCIe SSD in the PCIe slot.
3. Windows 7 and Windows Server 2008 R2 may require updates from Microsoft to work with PCIe/NVMe SSDs.
