At a nearby woodcutter’s campfire Shere Khan hunts man Roar!!! Ahhhh!! Look! A man cub! Oww!!! Bring him in, I want to see. 3 Back at the cave Give the man cub to me now! Aww, he is snuggling in with the cubs. No way! A few months later at a pack council Akela and the other wolves discuss the future of Mowgli… What use to the pack is a man cub, give him to me? Look well, O Wolves! 4 Yeah, what is the use of a man cub for the pack, Akela? The law of the pack states, that the cub must be stood for by two members of the pack that are not his mother or father. I will buy the man cub’s life for the price of a freshly killed buffalo. I will stand for the man cub, what harm can he do? 5 The man cub is now part of the pack. Grrr you will pay!
