Deep in the
Indian Jungle
lived a pack of
wolves
Shere Khan has
shifted his
hunting
grounds!
Listen, you
can hear
him hunt.
He has
no
right!
Why, he is
hunting
man!
At a nearby woodcutter’s
campfire Shere Khan hunts
man
Roar!!!
Ahhhh!!

Oww!!!
Bring him in, I
want to see.

Back at the cave
Give the
man cub
to me
now!
Aww, he is
snuggling in
with the cubs.
No
way!
A few months later at a pack council
Akela and the other wolves discuss the
future of Mowgli…
What use to the
pack is a man cub,
give him to me?
Look well, O
Wolves!

Yeah, what is the
use of a man cub for
the pack, Akela?
The law of the pack states,
that the cub must be stood
for by two members of the
pack that are not his
mother or father.
I will buy the man
cub’s life for the
price of a freshly
killed buffalo.
I will stand for the
man cub, what
harm can he do?

The man cub is
now part of the
pack.
Grrr you
will pay!
Mowgli is
accepted into the
pack. But Shere
Khan vows to
have revenge.
