Summer Term Newsletter Olympic Fun As I’m sure you are aware this year is an Olympic year. The Olympics start with an opening ceremony in Rio on Friday 5th August. To celebrate the opening ceremony we are challenging our children and parents to design and build their own Olympic torch. Prizes will be given for the most creative and original ideas. Throughout the month of August we will be doing a number of different sporting activities to tie in with the Olympics theme. We will keep you regularly updated with what is happening in the room newsletters and through email and Facebook so please keep your eyes open. If any parents have a particular interest in sport and would like to share that with nursery please speak to Michelle or Kelli who will arrange for you to come in and do a sporting session with the children. Euro Final Breakfast Comic Relief This summer we have lots of sporting events to look forward too. As well as the Olympics in August we will be cheering on the England Football team as they take part in the Euros in June.
