Olympic Fun
As I’m sure you are aware this year is an Olympic year.
The Olympics start with an opening ceremony in Rio on Friday
5th August. To celebrate the opening ceremony we are challenging our
children and parents to design and build their own Olympic torch. Prizes will be given for the
most creative and original ideas.
Throughout the month of August we will be doing a number of different sporting activities to
tie in with the Olympics theme. We will keep you regularly updated with what is happening in
the room newsletters and through email and Facebook so please keep your eyes open. If any
parents have a particular interest in sport and would like to share that with nursery please
speak to Michelle or Kelli who will arrange for you to come in and do a sporting session with
the children.
