• BDEP provides CGM format images for R$ 200
• These images can be used in PCs with Corel
Draw software
• Images show 3 well logs or seismic sections (6
seconds + 1000 lines ~12,5km with a 25m
shot interval)
To choose between well or seismic data the
consultant may use BDEP’s Client Room at an
hourly rate of R$ 200

• CURRENT STATUS IN PETROBRAS:
• 350,000 core boxes, chip and special samples
• 2,700 fluid samples
• Data stored in 8 Brazilian cities

• Petrobras = temporary holder
• Access to cores, chip samples and fluid samples of
public wells: interested party send a request to ANP,
which establishes together with Petrobras price and
timeframe of the request.

• Similar structure to that of the Core
Research Center – Alberta Energy and
Utilities Bureau, Canadá
