Europe and Americas. The children will experience the beauty and
spirit of these countries in sight, smell, sound, taste and touch. The
camps are designed to build on one another; yet whether your child
attends one, two, three or four weeks of camp, each camp stands on its
own providing an enriching cultural experience.
Camp hours are from 9:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. Campers have an opportunity to sign
up for their preference of language classes for the week: Spanish or Mandarin. All children
enjoy daily enrichment classes in art, dance, cooking, etiquette, swimming and drama.
Friday is “Fun Day” with bounce houses, movies, hoola hoops, water balloons, outside play
and much more!
Art Projects from Many Cultures
Pretty Please Etiquette
Each week we will explore different cultures
through art projects that take their cues from
the art history of Asia, Africa, Europe and
Americas. From mandalas of Asia to tribal
masks of native Americans, the students will
work in a variety of media, honing their artistic
skills while learning about different cultures
and having a blast while doing it!
While exploring cultural traditions around
the world, students will learn etiquette and
manners in a fun yet educational environment. The instructor will blend kindness,
consideration, and respect with correctness,
social poise, and manners for all occasions.
The goal of these classes is to instill a life-long
social confidence.
Kids 'N Dance
Spanish
This class focuses on technique, musicality and
strength. Campers experience a variety of dance
disciplines including ballet, modern jazz, and tap.
This class develops the skill and understanding
students need to wield Spanish conversationally. Every exercise and activity has students
speaking, listening, acting, and learning, and
is enriched by studies of Spanish and Latin
American cultures!
Mandarin
How about taking a trip to China? This class is
a week of participatory activities including
songs, dancing, games, stories, and crafts. We
will explore Chinese language, people, culture,
famous places, traditional food, and more!
Mini-Chefs
Looking to inspire your child’s culinary
creativity? Our experienced instructors will
guide young cooks on a world tour of favorite
foods and recipes!
Swimming
We provide an opportunity for all campers to
improve and develop their swimming and
have FUN through a combination of "wet"
and "dry-land" activities. Our staff of professional life guards insures your swimmer has a
great time; while learning proper swimming
technique. Group placement is based on age
and in the water activities is based on
swimming ability!
Theatre
Using adventure stories, folktales and fairy
tales as springboards, campers take
imaginative journeys to faraway lands!
Teaching artists lead students in themebased explorations of creative drama, music,
and movement.
