EXPERIENCE
Mr. Matthew Castillo joined BES in March of 2015. Previously, he was the Production Manager at Amtech
Building Sciences (Amtech) from January 2014 through February 2015. While at Amtech, he managed all
CAD production in the Houston office and assisted with roof observations. Prior to that, Mr. Castillo was a
technician with Wiss, Janney, Elstner Associates, Inc. (WJE) from 2007 through December of 2013. While
at WJE, he assisted staff with the preparation of construction documents for commercial and institutional
buildings. Mr. Castillo has extensive AutoCAD knowledge ranging from Versions 14 to AutoCAD
Architecture 14. He worked closely with senior staff to develop typical and specialty details for structural
repairs, roofing, waterproofing, and glazing. In addition, he coordinated all reproduction work, managed
client drawing submittals, and assisted with AutoCAD training. In addition, Mr. Castillo was also a CAD
instructor at South Texas College teaching basic and intermediate AutoCAD along with other core
curriculum classes.
