Final Gravity
The chart below will assist you in calculating the alcohol content of your brew. Alcohol can be calculated by
the difference between the hydrometer readings you take at the start and end of fermentation.
For Example: Your Brew starts at 1.044 and finishes at 1.010.
Following the chart these 2 columns intersect at 4.62%. If you are bottling your brew, you must allow a
further 0.5% for the priming sugar. So, 4.62% + 0.5% = 5.12%
