Bio
Ron was discovered by Jackie Chan in 1997 to do the final fight scene in ‘Who am I?’
on the rooftop of the Nedloyd building in Rotterdam. He got this part after Jackie saw a video
tape of Ron with the record highest kick (11 feet) and his kicking ability.
The movie got a Hong Kong award for the best action scene of 1998. After Ron went to Hong
Kong to gain more action experience and worked with great action directors like Donnie Yen
and Corey Yuen.
Thailand became the new center of action in Asia and Ron worked on 3 projects with Tony
Jaa and build a huge resume there. It is also an entrance to Hollywood movies. He worked
with Sharon Stone, Salman Khan, Kevin Bacon, Michael Clarke Duncan, Scott Adkins, Jean
Claude van Damme, Gary Daniels and many many others.
In the years Ron got more character and developed more acting skills, got a part in
Vikingdom as Captain of Jomsberg with Dominic Purcell and a main part as Sergei (Serbian
Pimp) in Skin Traffic (2014). (which is his biggest acting role till now)
Ron’s accent is very suitable for an Eastern European Character in this movie, and
also doing the fight scenes with Gary Daniels went very smoothly because of his action
background.
Now Ron gets taken more seriously as an actor as he can play both the good and the bad guy.
