The tradition of the “punch bowl” is making

time to mix and mingle with your guests.
Whether your favourite spirit is vodka, rum,
gin, tequila, whisky or gin, there’s a recipe
that will make your get-together special.
Mix and serve in a bowl or a pitcher, add
some garnish, choose your glassware and

Remember to serve plenty of non-salty
snacks along with a selection of nonalcoholic offerings as well.

Add all ingredients to a pitcher half filled with ice, stir.

Add all ingredients to a pitcher, stir well. Garnish with

Hornitos Gold Tequila

hibiscus spice tea syrup*
7 ½ oz (225 ml)
lime juice
40 dashesorange bitters
5 bottles
gingerbeer
Stir all ingredients, except gingerbeer, in a pitcher
gently with lots of ice. Remove half the ice with a
slotted spoon to avoid dilution. Serve with fresh ice
and top with 4 oz gingerbeer.
*Hibiscus spice TEA SYRUP (MAKES 750 ml)

16¾ oz (500ml) sugar (cane, raw or white)
Steep and strain. Mix in sugar to taste. Refrigerate.

Stir ingredients into a large punch bowl with ice.
Add a slice of lemon and lime and a cinnamon stick
to each glass.

With a hand blender, emulsify ingredients together
to make a light and airy egg nog. To chill, stir in lots
of ice then remove to avoid rapid dilution. Pour into a
punch bowl. Garnish with nutmeg or cinnamon.
Important: Raw eggs MUST be kept cold at all times.

red pepper sauce

Worcestershire sauce
Fill pitcher with ice. Pour in gin followed by the sherry,
tomato and lemon juice. Stir well. Season with celery
salt, black pepper, horseradish, red pepper sauce
and Worcestershire sauce to taste.
