The faculty, staff and volunteers of Fairhope Elementary School (FES) are hard at work, preparing for our 20 Annual Family
Night Auction & Dinner that will be held on our campus on Tuesday, March 21, 2017. We are respectfully requesting your
help in making this the best event to date. Through cash sponsorships and items available for bid through our silent auction,
we are hoping to raise $60,000 this year. While that may sound unachievable to some, we are confident that this supportive
community will help push us beyond the impressive $55,000 mark we hit last year!
The funds raised at our last auction were used primarily to replace and enhance technology in our classrooms (SmartBoards:
$22,000; installation of new boards, Elmos, software, and projectors: $30,000; printers and ink: $3,000+). This year, auction
proceeds will be used to enhance collaborative learning in our school through the purchase of instructional supplies and
resources and professional development.
Although the doors will not open for our silent auction until 5:30pm on the night of the event, this is not the first opportunity
you will have to receive exposure for contributions you make as an individual and/or business this year. We’ll again be
running the event ONLINE! Through the magic of technology, items will be available for viewing as soon as they’re received
and the information is uploaded at the school! This will allow individuals who are unable to attend our event to support our
school from miles away while allowing greater recognition for our supporters! Bidding will close at 7pm as usual, regardless if
buyers are at the event or are clicking away on a computer or smartphone from home! Greater exposure for our donors also
means greater profits for our school!

With your support and the support of this great community, we are confident that we can reach our goal of raising $60,000.
