No, you don’t have to be home. Put on your application that you won’t be there, so we can tell your team. Please confine your animal and keep the gate unlocked. When will I know that my house has been chosen to be raked? You will be notified by the team captain within one week of raking. I have a dog/cat, what should I do with it during Rake Up Boise™? Please confine your animal during the time that the volunteers are at your home. Also, make sure all animal droppings are picked up. If there is animal waste in the yard, the volunteers will not rake your yard. My yard was raked last year. Do I need to send in another application? Yes, please send in an application this year. You must apply every year to have your yard raked. What if the volunteers come before all of my leaves fall? The teams are only responsible to rake your leaves once, however, talk to the team captain to see if they will go back to your home to help rake your leaves. When will the teams receive their assigned houses? We will notify you at least one week in advance. Can teams rake on a different day? We encourage you to rake on November 16th. If teams need to, they can rake on a different day. Please put the date you will rake on your team application. You will also need to let the senior know what day you’ll be raking. What supplies does Rake Up Boise™ supply for the teams? We provide the leaf bags. Teams will need to bring their own rakes, gloves, etc. What should we do if we run out of bags? Go to the Zamzows store where you picked up your bags originally to get more bags. What should we do with the left over bags? Please return all unused bags to the Zamzows store on Fairview Avenue. What if the yard has dog waste in it? You are not obligated to rake if there is dog waste in the yard. The homeowners have been notified. What time is Rake Up Boise™? It is the team captain’s responsibility to set the time of raking. Earlier in the day seems to work the best for teams and recipients. When is the application deadline? October 21, 2013 for both teams and recipients
