Northville High School Theatre Sponsorship & Advertising Opportunities 2015 – 2016 Season NHS Theatre 2015-2016 About Us Northville High School's Drama Club is a place for students to explore their creative side and pursue their passion for theatre. NHS Drama Club is run by students year-around and encompasses all things theatre - acting and singing, designing and building sets, audio and lighting, media/marketing, social media/promotion, filming, and more. Students learn their skills from professionals, who help direct and design the sets. Drama Club presents three productions on stage each year: a fall play, a student-run winter production, and a spring musical. With a club of 75 students and growing, our productions bring in thousands of attendees every year. The Opportunity to Contribute In order to survive and thrive as a club, we need generous contributions from community sponsors like you. Your generosity will help to buy rights to productions, purchase set building materials, costumes, makeup, lighting, technical equipment, and more. In addition, your contributions allow students to keep their passions alive both onstage and behind the scenes. NHS Theatre 2015-2016 NHS PERFORMANCES FALL PLAY 13 Past Midnight November 12, 13, 14 When powerful millionaire Victor Winslow, producer of a popular TV soap opera, invites members of the cast to his mansion for a party, no one dare refuses. Winslow informs his guests that he has assembled them to help develop a new murder mystery game. Things turn deadly when Winslow is discovered stabbed in the neck with a dart. Pete Griffin, a private investigator, must try to trap the murderer before he or she can strike again. Filled with laughs and chills, 13 Past Midnight will make you think twice before accepting an invitation to a murder mystery evening! STUDENT-RUN WINTER PRODUCTION The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee January 29, 30 An eclectic group of six-graders arrives at the 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee, each eager to win for very different reasons. In hilarious, touching, and catchy songs, each speller reveals his/her hopes, struggles, and passions as they make their way through the competition. With an engaging, tuneful score and a sweet, funny storyline, The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee causes audiences to fall in love, both with the show itself and its “perspicacious,” “jocular,” and “effervescent” spellers. SPRING MUSICAL The Little Mermaid April 21, 22, 23 In a magical kingdom beneath the sea, a curious young mermaid named Ariel is fascinated by the world above and its people on dry land. Although her father forbids contact, Ariel falls in love with a handsome human prince.
