 3D - Read the description on one of the cards without showing the
picture. Which shape is it?
 Show the picture and ask questions about the properties
 Choose a card and find objects in the house which are also that shape
 Spread out the cards with the pictures showing and think of a shape.
Give one clue at a time. Let your child move aside the cards which it
cannot be until they think they have identified your card
 Play the game above with the 2D shapes card and cover shapes with a
counter
 Can the cards be grouped eg shapes with a curve, shapes with 6 faces,
shapes with 8 corners, shapes with no corners?
