THE CORPORATION OF THE TOWN OF MILTON
BY-LAW NO. 107-2003
BEING A BY-LAW TO AUTHORIZE THE DISRUPTION OF TRAFFIC AND THE
RECONSTRUCTION OF INDUSTRIAL DRIVE, HANNANT COURT AND HARROP
DRIVE NORTH OF MCGEACHIE DRIVE IN THE TOWN OF MILTON AS SET OUT ON
SCHEDULE ‘A’ ATTACHED HERETO
WHEREAS Section 11(2) of the Municipal Act, 2001, S.O. 2001, c. 25, as amended,
(the “Act”) permits a municipality to pass by-laws respecting matters dealing with
Highways;
AND WHEREAS Council deems it necessary to perform reconstruction work on
Industrial Drive, Hannant Court and Harrop Drive north of McGeachie Drive;
AND WHEREAS Council deems it necessary to disrupt traffic on Industrial Drive,
Hannant Court and Harrop Drive north of McGeachie Drive as described in Schedule
"A" to this By-law to vehicular traffic for road reconstruction;
NOW THEREFORE the Council of the Corporation of the Town of Milton hereby enacts
as follows:
1.
THAT reconstruction work be performed on the following highways:

Industrial Drive;
Hannant Court; and
Harrop Drive, north of McGeachie Drive
2.
THAT traffic be disrupted on Industrial Drive, Hannant Court and Harrop Drive
north of McGeachie Drive for a period more particularly described on Schedule
‘A’ attached hereto for the purpose of road reconstruction.
3.
THAT the Town Clerk and the Director of Community Services of the Town of
Milton are hereby instructed to ensure that all necessary requirements of the Act
with respect to temporary closures are fulfilled.

THAT this by-law is deemed to come into force on the date it is passed.
READ a FIRST, SECOND and THIRD TIME and FINALLY PASSED this 28th day of
July, 2003.
