Welcome to the 2nd Annual New Balance Los Angeles Dodgers Foundation 5K & 10K Run and Kids Fun Run presented by your SoCal Honda Dealers, benefiting the Los Angeles Dodgers Foundation and our three pillars: Sports + Recreation, Education + Literacy and Health + Wellness. We have a fantastic race planned, complete with amazing views of Dodger Stadium and Downtown Los Angeles, cool-­‐down run around the Dodger Stadium warning track and guest appearances by Dodger Legends! Thank you for your support!! Be sure to bring your Registration Confirmation Email and photo ID to Packet pick up. PACKET PICK UP: SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 12 TIME: 11:00AM-­‐5:00PM DODGER STADIUM – Top of the Park, next to the Merchandise Store, Lot P 1000 Elysian Park Ave Los Angeles, CA 90012 Must enter through the Sunset Gate A off Elysian Park Ave, as this will be only gate open on this day. Please visit Dodgers.com for directions to Sunset Gate A. The concession stand will be open so you can get your Dodger Dog and other tasty treats and the Top of the Park Dodger Team Store will also be open. All 5K, 10K and Kids Fun Run runners who show their race bib will get 20% OFF merchandise at the Dodger Team Store at Top of the Park on Saturday, September 12 during packet pick-­‐up and Sunday, September 13 on race day at the Dodger Team Store in Left Field!! 5K, 10K & KIDS FUN RUN RACE DAY PACKET PICK UP WILL BE AVAILABLE BY THE START LINE STARTING AT 6:30AM WE HIGHLY ENCOURAGE YOU TO COME ON SATURDAY TO ALLEVIATE LINES ON RACE DAY. DIRECTIONS TO DODGER STADIUM Many of the access gates that you may be familiar with to Dodger Stadium will be closed on race day. The only entrances open on race day will be Sunset Gate A off of Elysian Park Ave and Downtown Gate E off Stadium Way/110. These two Auto Gates open at 6:30 a.m. Please be aware that due to the 10K course in Elysian Park, roads will be closed through Elysian Park from 6:00 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. so do not exit the 5 Freeway to get to Dodger Stadium. Please visit Dodgers.com for directions to the stadium. PARKING Race participants and their friends and families will have access to FREE parking in Dodger Stadium parking lots. Parking attendants will direct you to parking once you enter through the gates. Parking lots will open at 6:30 am. The start and finish lines will be just beyond the centerfield area of Dodger Stadium. SPECTATORS Spectators will be allowed to watch runners along the race route as well as inside Dodger Stadium to watch the cool-­‐
down lap around the warning track. Friends and family must remain in the Left Field Pavilion stands. FOOD & BEVERAGES The Left Field Plaza concession stand will be open on race day so you can purchase food and beverages. START LINE We ask that all runners line up according to their estimated finish time. Slower runners in the back and faster/elite runners in the front. If you plan on running with a stroller, please line up in the back of the start line corral. If you plan to walk, please line up at the back of the start line corral. This is for the safety of all runners. NO Dogs or Pets allowed. 10K Start Time: 7:30am 5K Start Time: 9:00am Kid’s Fun Run: 10:30am GEAR CHECK Not provided for this race. Please plan accordingly. All participants of the New Balance Los Angeles Dodgers Foundation 5K & 10K Run and Kids Fun Run presented by your SoCal Honda Dealers will receive a Dodger medal upon completion of the run. Awards will be awarded to Top 3 Overall Male and Female Finishers in the 10K and 5K of the New Balance Los Angeles Dodgers Foundation 5K & 10K Run and Kids Fun Run, presented by your SoCal Honda Dealers and 3 deep in the following divisions for Males and Females for both races: 13 & under, 14 -­‐18, 19-­‐29, 30-­‐39, 40-­‐49, 50-­‐59, 60-­‐69, 70-­‐75 and 76 & above. Winners must be present at the finish line to receive their prize.
