Thank you!
Dear Friends,
During the year we gather
funds for the winter months.
This year we were unable to
gather the funds we needed.
It takes tremendous funds to
carry the winter due to heat
and other expenses such as driving our vans to
and from school along with repairs and gas.
Please consider helping the Children’s home
with this need.
The Children had a wonderful Christmas.
Thanks for all of your kindness in all donations.
Thank you in advance for your help.

TIME
I don’t have diamonds
upon my hands
I don’t travel to foreign lands
Working with children
Who are in much need
Searching for funds
In writing such a plea
I know I’ll sit one day
In the garden in the shade
For God and his mighty way
In the garden he has made
Time is passing faster now
It seems to come and go
This dream that has grown so
much
God created I know

Christmas to me means love. Someone knows my name. Dreams
that at least someone is thinking of me. Joy to see the look on
our face for a book, socks, or a sweater. Thank You! Antonia, 16

You have a story. Make it epic.
Through the Eyes of A Dog
I remember when I came, they decided
to change my name.
They changed my name from Brandy
to one much better called, “Candy.”
I was amazed to see so many faces,
children coming from all kinds of places.
Into the boy’s room I would sneak,
because that is where I want to sleep.
Nestled next to my newest friend,
and if possible, under his hand.
I would run and chase them all,
and together we would fall.
I saw a man in a big white car;
I said to myself, “I wonder who they are?”
A knock at the door and he walked in,
a boy with a small bag - I knew then.
I see them big and small and I love them all.
For a St. Bernard like me, this is my job as you
can see.
As I watch them laugh and cry,
I often sit and wonder why.
This was a gentle creature, oh so great,
I guess that’s why she was called a “SAINT.”
Candy was killed in the line of duty, waiting
for her masters to come home. They stopped
because they saw a moving car, Candy didn’t.
She ran to meet the van, running in front of a
car.

Legacy...
Thinking about giving to One Way Farm
Children’s Home, but don’t know quite how?
Consider a Legacy Gift.
What is a Legacy Gift? A legacy gift is a planned future donation to a charity,
given through a will or other form of designation. It is a decision that each
person makes in their own financial planning process, taking into account
their charitable wishes and values.
Leaving a gift in your will to One Way Farm Children’s Home may be the
most valuable gift you ever give. It could provide a sustainable resource that
will be used to change children’s lives both now and in the future. Thank you
for your consideration.
