It is a portal that invites you to explore what others are thinking and doing in the areas of person-centered planning, leadership development, community-building, employment and organizational planning as they relate to supporting the ideals of citizenship with and on behalf of people with disabilities who are vulnerable to social exclusion. REGISTRATION Registration is $50* per attendee. * Early registration by February 15 is $40. AAIDD member registration is $40. Payment must be included with registration. Carol Blessing, LMSW serves on the faculty at Cornell University’s Employment & Disability Institute in the School of Industrial and Labor Relations. Carol has spent the past 30 years immersed in advancing person-centered work as a primary vehicle in building inclusive pathways to community with people with disabilities. She is actively involved in developing programs and working with individuals with intellectual/cognitive impairment and people with mental health concerns in both community-based and institutional-based settings. She is the author and director of the landmark Citizen-Centered Leadership Community of Practice, an international multi-media approach to building a world that works for everyone. Attendees are responsible for their own lodging and transportation.
