Continuing SPA Recognition The results of the latest SPA submission have been returned and the Ursuline College Educational Administration Program has maintained its Nationally Recognized Status from ELCC through the next NCATE Accreditation visit. Thank you to all involved in this process and especially to our wonderful students. We Welcome Three New Faculty Members Three new adjunct instructors have been added to the Ursuline College Educational Administration faculty. Cynthia Walker is the Superintendent at Brooklyn City Schools and will teach ED 541 Pupil Personnel Services. Michael Lynch is the Principal at Lake Elementary in the Mentor Schools. Mike will teach ED 505 Supervision of Instruction. Darla Wagner, Assistant Principal at Orange Brady Middle School, will teach ED 549 Professional Staff Development. All of these new adjuncts are extremely successful school administrators and will do a similar outstanding job teaching in the Educational Administration Program. Both Mike Lynch and Darla Wagner are graduates of the Ursuline Educational Administration Program. All past and present URSULINE EDUCATIONAL ADMINISTRATION students are invited to attend an opportunity for enrichment and renewal. This event will provide a good time to reflect upon whether you are getting your "RIGHT STUFF DONE." More information will follow soon. Fourteen Candidates Obtain Licenses from the State of Ohio The following members of the Ursuline College Educational Administration Program have recently received their licenses to serve as school principals in the State of Ohio. These people successfully completed all the required coursework and passed the Administrative Praxis exam. Brian Brookhart, Assistant Principal at Aurora High School, will focus on taking care of himself intellectually. Jennifer Berardinelli, Principal at Mary Queen of Peace Elementary, will center her remarks on taking care of herself spiritually and taking care of the small children in her family. Monyka Price, Educational Liaison for Mayor Frank Jackson in the City of Cleveland, will talk about taking care of herself physically and staying in shape. And, finally Kevin Buchman who has had four different jobs in the last four years will address taking care of himself professionally. The evening will begin at 5:00 in the Daley Dining Hall with piano music and a light supper of sandwiches, salad, soft drinks, and cake. At 6:00 the entire Educational Administration Program will adjourn to KLYN Hall in the Ursuline Motherhouse for the program. After the four presenters, there will be a sharing session so that everyone can talk about taking care of herself or himself. The Evening of Reflection is an annual event for the Educational Administration Program.
