obviously depends on how far the boys have progressed through the finals. Good Luck Boys!

Swimming Gala – Written by Year 6
On Wednesday 16th November Years 5 & 6 went to Bedale Leisure Centre to compete in a swimming gala.
Everyone felt nervous and excited before their races and also while we waited to begin, it seemed like
ages before the whistle was blown. Once the whistle was blown the cheering started and the noise was
thunderous. As the race began and we started to swim, we all felt less nervous and were determined to do
our best. Our hearts, beating fast as we swam like fishes down the pool. As we swam, we didn’t feel alone
because we had our team behind us cheering us on. At the end of our races we felt relieved and proud of
our achievements.
The team were very successful, we achieved three first places and three second places in the races.
Everyone enjoyed the gala and we came out smiling
Forest Schools
