FACILITY SPECIFICATIONS
The Alberta Crude Terminal (ACT) is owned and operated
by Keyera in partnership with Kinder Morgan. ACT spans
40 acres, for a total of 90 acres when combined with the
adjacent Alberta Diluent Terminal (ADT). This parcel of land
is located north of the Edmonton Terminal in the Edmonton/
Fort Saskatchewan energy hub.
ACT functions as a loading facility for crude oil streams handled
at Kinder Morgan’s Edmonton Terminal for delivery via rail to
refineries all over North America. The Terminal, which began
operating in September of 2014, has the capacity to load
approximately 40,000 barrels per day (Bbls/d) of crude oil into
tank cars and has access to the Canadian National and Canadian
Pacific Railways.
ACT is located in the Edmonton/Fort Saskatchewan energy hub.
