steps:
1. Evenly divide the organic perlite (crushed white rocks) into
three cupcake shaped containers. Perlite is very porous,
which helps drain water away from soil and roots.
2. Fill each container with potting soil.
3. Place clover seeds in the middle of each container and
gently cover with more potting soil.
4. Decorate with moss, stones, and dinosaurs!
5. Water each container.
6. Place indoors in a bright sunny spot.
7. Water gradually evaporates upwards out of the container
because there is no hole at the bottom of the container.
This self-watering system keeps the soil perfectly moist.
tip:
If you accidentally over-water, simply drain the excess by carefully
tipping the container on it’s side with one hand and holding the
soil and plants in place with the other.
