SQUARE BALE---------------------------MAIZE PRESS MVA 750/1000 PATENTED SYSTEM LISIBACH---------------------MASCHINENBAU AG The drive of the entire machine is arranged centrally on the drawbar. The hydraulic system is driven by a 15 kW electric motor. Three separate oil circuits supply the components with oil. This permits minimal energy input and low oil temperatures enabled by optimal design and firstclass hydraulic components. Power can be supplied straight from the public grid for an enormous reduction in operating cost and no unnecessary noise. For field use, a normal emergency generator can be used. On request, the press can also be driven by the cardan shaft. The hydraulic system is centrally and clearly arranged, permitting an ideal overview of the system status. Three completely separate oil circuits are used for the direct control of the individual components. Each group has a separate pressure relief valve and a manometer providing information on the status and power demand of the system at all times. Over 20 electromagnetic main valves and a number of additional valves see to the control of the individual components. Directly next to the valves is the relay box. Solid state relays attend to the direct control of the valves. The entire electronic system of the machine is housed centrally in a steel cabinet. A PLC processor controls and monitors the system, permitting program customization at any time without tiresome manipulation. Important parameters can be set directly on the display. The machine can be equipped with a GSM modem on request for remote maintenance and fault analysis of the entire system at any location. The control is operated with 24V DC. All the electronic components are monitored by residual current circuit breakers. 2 emergency stop circuits, which bring the machine to an immediate standstill, are provided for safety. Clearly arranged switches facilitate machine operation and inform the user of the operating status. The display shows the operating status of the machine at all times and also any fault messages in case of malfunction. The operator's console allows simple manual control for setup and servicing. For normal work this is not necessary. All the functions can be controlled directly using the operating lever. Tedious search in a menu display is not needed. The operator's console with 5 metres of cable is connected directly to the valve box. This enables operation, monitoring and manipulation for servicing from any location. LISIBACH----------------------- The maize press can be fed with maize straight from the dosage vehicle, optionally from the left or right. The maize is filled into the pressing chamber via a vertical conveyor and a longitudinal conveyor. Only when the pressing chamber is full, does the maize enter the 8 m³ storage bunker without the filling operation being interrupted. The storage bunker is automatically emptied, as required, by the control system. Thus the forage wagon is emptied withwith any interruption whatsoever and the pressing chamber is filled in as little time as possible, irrespective of the current filling volume. The filling system regulates itself and guarantees maximum pressing and wrapping performance. The maize is filled inbetween the two rams. When the entire pressing chamber is filled, the pressing operation begins. Two vertically superposed rams with a maximum pressing force of 25,000 kg each, press the maize to form the shape wanted. The pressing chamber is closed at the back by four covers nested within one another. For vertical wrapping, the covers are opened up and form the guiding surfaces for the bale. An ejector pushes the pressed bale out of the chamber. At the same time four layers of film are wound over the covers by a wrapping device. As the bales are ejected, the film is stripped off the covers. In a second step, the bale is enveloped horizontally with another four layers of film by the wrapping table. As a result, the bale is bidirectionally snugly enveloped in film without use of a net. The bale can be cut in slices at a later stage. The maize not yet needed remains firmly enclosed by the remaining film. The angular shape permits simple and compact transportation and stacking.
