The exact amounts of each element depends
on the type and rank of coal, how the coal was
formed millions of years ago and the location
or mines from which the coal is sourced.

catalyst in granule form to reduce harmful
emissions in Coal fired power plants & reduce
your carbon footprint.
ARC Energy CCEC
• It improves combustion and provide some fuel
savings reducing harmful CO2, CO, SOx and
NOx gases.
• If boiler/ Furness is operated optimally ARE E
CCEC can reduce consumption of coal in the
range of 2% to 5%

thermal efficiency of boilers, furnaces.

Characteristics
• Appearance: granules / powder.
Application & Dosage
• It is mixed with coal, in normal dosage of 1 kg
of additive for every 4000 kg of coal.
• Depending on GCV of coal use size of
pulverized coal and reduced air inflow, ARC
Energy CCEC additive quantity will differ to get
maximum out put.
Packaging
• 100 kg HDPE cans or 50 kg PP bags or 10 Kg or
1 Kg plastic bags.

• No changes are necessary in furnace
• The described compositions are simply added
to the fuel supply at precise ratios (1Kg
Catalyst to 4Tons of Coal).
• The catalysts are largely benign, non-poisons,
non- heavy metals which are non-toxic and
non-radioactive safe formulations.
Safety Precautions
• Product is safe to handle and is non-hazardous
and non-flammable.
• Avoid contact with eyes.
• In case of contact, wash the affected area with
water. Treat the product as inorganic chemical.

maximum heat energy is extracted out of coal
combustion.
• At different temperature in Furness from
200° C to 1200° C Coal changes its form
from solid, liquid, gaseous to Plasma state.
• Carbon, Hydrogen, Oxygen, Nitrogen, Sulfur
molecules behave differently and react
differently in plasma state.

• Coal burns for longer time and reacts in such a
way that it give maximum heat energy in
presence of ARC Energy Catalyst.
• Long Carbon & Hydrogen chain breaks into
small chains and individual Carbon atoms to
form Methane & Carbon.
• Methane further breaks down to Carbon
dioxide and water

• Catalyst removes NOx emissions by oxidizing
NO to NO2.
• Thus more and more Carbon is extracted and
more and more energy is made available due
to Catalyst that make maximum combustion
possible, if correct air (O2) is made available.

• 8 MWH Captive Power plant
• Part of steam produced is used for paper
production and part for electricity generation.
• Indian Coal is used GCV around 3300 Kcal
• 1 Kg of ARC Energy Coal catalyst is used for
treating 4 MT of Caol
• Test was conducted over 30 days period.
O2, CO2, CO, NOx & SOx was
monitored every 1 hour
