Game Console and DVR Device Registration
1. Plug your Game Console or DVR Device into the network and start it up with an online game or
attempt to connect to the Internet. This will allow the network registration system to see your
system’s registration attempts.
2. Depending on where you attend, you will need to visit one of the following registration
websites. **Please note you will need to access the website from a computer connected to
the Northwood University network.
Florida Students – http://flregister.northwood.edu
Michigan Students – http://miregister.northwood.edu
Texas Students – http://txregister.northwood.edu
3. In the Username field enter your Northwood username.
4. In the Password field enter your Northwood password.
5. In the MAC Address field enter the MAC Address of the device you are registering.
**Your MAC Address must be entered in the following format AA:BB:CC:11:22:33
For instructions on obtaining your MAC address, visit your registration website from above.
6. In the Device Type drop down box select the device type you are registering. If you don’t see
the device type you are registering, please contact the Help Desk at (877) 209-4357, or
[email protected].
7. Click the Register button. Your device will be able to connect to the Northwood network 10
minutes after successfully registering.
