It is very important to know the usefulness of cycling in
order to reduce pollution, from air pollution to
ambient noise, to look after health and to be conscious
of towns and lands; it is also important to gain technics
about bike upkeep and mechanical skills in order to
use your own bike; moreover it is useful to get
information about landscapes and history of Valle
d’Itria.
Ride along the cycle path of the Aqueduct, in the heart
of Valle d’Itria, between, Martina Franca, Locorotondo
and Cisternino.
Low difficult tour with rubble-stone and tarred road.
Tour of 8 km, departure from C.da Figazzano in
Cisternino.
Along the tour it is possible to get information about
landscapes, trulli, typical cultivation of familiar
vegetable gardens and orchards, flora and fauna in
Valle d’Itria; about cycling workshop for bike upkeep,
use of your own bikes or possibility of bike rental.

COSTS PER PERSON: € 6,00 (€ 12,00 including bike rental )- guided tour every 20 persons

• In the afternoon, guided tour in the beautiful old town of Martina Franca characterized by rococo style
• In the afternoon, guided tour in the interesting botanical conservatory (I Giardini di Pomona) where there are collections of
hundreds of fruits and where it is possible to walk in a scented labyrinth of lavender.
