Inclement Weather Policy
In the event of bad weather, the school office will send
phone, text, and e-mail messages to parents as well as
posting it on our website announcing any closings or
delays. Because of St. John School's proximity to
Harford County, we will follow the guidelines of
Baltimore County or Harford County in the event of
early dismissal/delayed opening or school closure in
either county due to severe weather.

Daddy/Daughter Dance
Our annual Daddy/Daughter dance will take place on
Friday, January 20. Please see the attached flyer for
more details.
New this year, you can order a wrist corsage for your
daughter! Corsages will be $15 each and available at the
entrance of the dance. It is important that you place your
order by January 12 to allow the florist ample time to
order materials. If you have questions about the
corsages, please contact Judith Kopp at
[email protected] or 410-688-6264.
After our most recent deadline, 60% of our current
school families have re-enrolled! Thank you so
much to all these families because early reenrollment allows the school board to know how
many students we can expect for the 2017-18 school
year. This enables more effective planning for
finances, improvements and staffing. With our
many fall recruitment events we have seen an
increase in interest in new student enrollment.
Enrollment for prospective families begins in
earnest this week so if you have not yet completed
your Intent to Enroll please do so quickly.
Completion of the Intent to Enroll reserves your
child's place for the 2017-18 school year. If you
need the link or the authentication code resent to
you, please email/call Mrs. Eileen Phelps.
For those families who completed re-enrollment
prior to December 31 and earned chances for the
FREE spring deposit (value $300), that drawing
will take place at the February 1 HASA meeting
that immediately follows our Catholic School Week
open house.
