PTFA Minutes 2-12-15
Present: Sarah, Nikki, Simone, Annette, Chris, Kerry, Clare, Hayley, Leanne
Apologies: Charlie, George, Lesley, Della, Mrs Kimberley & Jo.
Ongoing points:
1. Charlie to buy a camera in the January sales.
2. Charlie & Annette to get the risk assessment for the school hall.
3. Library technology with Annette
4. Easy fundraising update - 49 people and over £100 this quarter.
5. Presents for parents update - Annette / Nikki / Simone have all been and bought their shopping,
Chris needs to go and Nikki going to check with Charlie and Della due to illness - Jo has offered to
help. We have enough helpers, a few of us a 5 students for 1.30 on Monday.
6. School meal update - Crackers etc have been bought, Christmas jumpers (Action-Leanne to check)
7. Our meal update - Meal choices to Nikki by the 10th please (Action - Everyone!)
8. Grotto update - Square £1, Name teddy £1, Hall ok for 1.30 Leanne has code. Action: Annette to
buy decorations budget £100. Clare to bring rocking chair and staple gun, cellotape etc. Leanne to
bring presents and wine for santas’ to the hall. Chris to bring mulled wine and teddies to hall. Simone
to bring wine bags. Elf / Santa rota was confirmed.
9. Tubs 4 Tablets sounded like there were not many donations, Leanne has checked in classrooms and
reception and it looks like there were not enough for a tablet.
10. KS2 booklist - Mrs Kite has the book list and going through it to see what books are missing from
the list and will then hand it over.
11. Newsletter - Kerry to design a flyer for online for grotto (Action - Kerry)
12. Class reps - Mr Bell class - Penny Harris. Just missing Mrs Kite class. It was decided that
everyone to be made admin to upload information on FB.
13. Petty cash - Leanne & Sarah have sorted the books and the petty cash.
14. Refreshments KS1 play - 14th at 2.30 (Hayley & Simone) and 15th at 6pm (Hayley & Chris)
Dec
15. Refreshments at Fd stage play - 11th Dec at 2.30 (Hayley, Sarah & Lesley)
16. Valentine ball - suggested date Fri 12th Feb. Sarah to ask her DJ friend. KS1 6-7, KS2 7.30-9.
17. Quiz & Curry night - Ask Mrs Kimberley & Della regarding this idea.
