Mayfair appoints Rockspring man in top
investment role

Mayfair Capital has appointed Phil Sturdy, formerly European director at Rockspring, as
investment director to support the firm’s growth plans.

Sturdy will report to Robert Palmer, chief investment officer, will have responsibility for deal
origination and investment deals across Mayfair’s funds. Having spent 12 years with
Rockspring and another six as an investment agent at CBRE, he has more than 18 years of
experience in commercial property.
Mayfair has also appointed Laura Sweet from Lambert Smith Hampton as an asset manager.
She will mainly be responsible for assisting with the investment activities and asset
management initiatives on two of Mayfair Capital’s advisory mandates: the MCPUT and
MCCPT.
Palmer said: “We are pleased to have made these two appointments which support our
ambitious growth plans. Phil has extensive knowledge of the funds industry and experience
across all property sectors throughout the UK which will prove invaluable to us as we grow
our business.”
