MAC users can download it from. http://www.gjonline.dk/software/Movi_4-2_MAC.zip It’s a manual installation. The first start of the MOVI program Now you should be able to start the program for the first time. Then type the password you have received by e-mail from Georg Jensen – IT-Support. We recommend that you check the 2 boxes for “remember my username”, “password” (Only if you have your own login) Then click the Sign in button. The MOVI program You should now be in the MOVI program. If not, you may have typed wrong username and password, wrong settings under advanced or you have not opened for the rights ports in your firewall. Cisco MOVI uses SIP port 5060 and 5061. Test call Now you are ready to make a call. You can call a E.164 alias, SIP or MOVI name. Only use this for calls to Danish phone numbers. In the address field, type 9060xxx (xxx is the Danish phone number you would like to call ex. 906038149898) Add a person to the Favorites list You can add a person to your own Favorites list. If you have found a name from the search field and next click on the person, then you can click on the line ”Add to favorites” to save the person in the list. If one of your contacts systems is on Calamus Infrastructure or another MOVI client you can see presence status from this. Presence status gives you information about the system are in a call, off or online. Startup picture When you start up MOVI the program shows you the Favorites list. Description of the startup picture: 1: Search field. It’s here you search after a person. 2: Presence status of a contact. 3: The name on the person in your contact list. 4: If you click on this button a new window will open with a picture from your own camera. 5: Settings. Here you can adjust your settings in the MOVI program. 6: Indicates if the system is registered/online. 7: Add a new person to your Favorites list. 8: Shortcut to your Favorites list. 9: Lists call history. Application: Video: Network: Notifications: Devices: About: Here you choose if the program should start when Windows start. Here you can change the resolution. It could be useful if you meet bad picture or quality. If you are on a connection with low bandwidth, you can adjust the bandwidth used by MOVI. Remember to change both upload and download. Here you change some lighter setting like sounds and ringtones. Here you choose your microphone and camera. Information about the MOVI version. Try to set the bandwidth down in the setting section. Use the icon in the upper right corner. I can’t use the DTMF tone DTMF tones are transported in the audio channel, so please check that your microphone isn’t on. Can I send and receive a computer presentation? Yes, with MOVI4 you can send and receive a presentation. Does MOVI support H.263 and H.264 ? The answer is yes. Yes. To call an IP, use the format movi@IP. For example, to call an endpoint registered to the IP address 10.47.27.27, dial [email protected]. Note: Some endpoints require a username when they receive a call. To call these endpoints, use the format <username>@IP, where <username> is the username of the person you are calling. Installing MOVI I was warned that my OpenGL version is too old. What should I do? You are running MOVI through a remote desktop or virtual machine software. This is not supported. Your operating system is not using the correct driver or driver version for its graphics card. Upgrading the driver should solve this problem. Page 15 of 15
